Faith precedes miracle

 Introduction

As science proves that we are all one race that no matter what is our color or origin we are all essentially the same beneath our skin. We will also grow, change and learn to adapt to one another’s cultural and individual differences. We have an opportunity to apply the most positive qualities of good people, intellectual openness, humanitarianism and compassion for the environment to making our world a more considerate place, benevolent and accepting world.

Who knows what the world would be like in future. Sometimes there are too many roads and you are not sure that you will ever find the right one. But that is only because we all make our own story and exploring is how each new adventure is begun.

Life is too short and sometimes difficult for all of us. We all experience disappointment, discouragement and loneliness in the time of trouble and difficulties. That is why some people do not know how to live by during these difficult times. I have experienced many problems and difficulties during my short life and I believe that through hope, faith in God and patience, a person can conquer their difficulties and even fulfills their dream. Because  hope precedes miracle. That is why I wrote a book called " looking for the right elixir " to share the fact that we all can be succeeded if we believe in our inner powers and appreciate the gifts of life which came from above. It may sound clinched to mention that we have to learn from the history  due to not repeat the mistakes that our fathers did and make the world a better place to live.

 EXT.Namsos.Norway.day

Long Shot, Namsos, a town located in central Norway.The small Norwegian houses are decorated with Christmas decorations. Everywhere is covered by snow and gave a mystical beauty to this town, where is surrounded by mountains and fjords.

MUSIC. The opening credits roll over a series of shots of  people. We pan the houses and find a particular house where our story begins. It is a big mystical white color house surrounded by pin trees. We see the windows and stop on a window. A close up the window. We get closer to the window and see a girl.

                                          DISSOLVE TO:

INT.room. day

The girl's name is Madeleine. We call her Maddy, 18 years old,  is sitting by her computer and writing her diary.Her room is decorated nicely with her dolls, paintings and books on the bookshelf.

We hear  the  news on TV from the living room. She feels pain in her stomach and goes towards the kitchen, picks up the box of medicine and  takes out a couple of tablets. She  swallows them and drinks a glass of water. The pain gets worth. She picks up the phone and dials a number.

                                             DISSOLVE TO:

INT.DOCTOR's office.day

Doctor Jacob Berton, 58 years old, looks at Maddy kindly. Worry lines crease his forehead and the gray at his temples attest to years of medical practice and sleepless nights.They are in the middle of a conversation.

 
Maddy:

I feel severe pain in my stomach.

I have been Feeling full or bloated

after a small meal and the nausea, vomiting

are killing me!

Dr. Berton

" You might not like this and i want to be honest with you

 ...after viewing the x-ray and biopsy result,

 i am afraid to tell you that you have stomach

cancer!

The cancer has gone too far and

 you don't have much time to live!So we can help you to ease the pain.."

Maddy

"Are there any treatments for me?"

Maddy's eyes are filed of tears. A drop of tear monists her lips.

Dr. Berton

"There are ways for instance: Local therapy.

We use surgery and radiation therapy which 

are local therapies. They remove or destroy

 cancer in or near the stomach.

When stomach cancer has spread to

 other parts of the body, local therapy

may be used to control the disease in

those specific areas. There is also another

way which is Chemotherapy.

The drug enters the bloodstream and

destroys or controls cancer throughout the body!"

Maddy (devastated)

"Is there any hope?"

Dr. Berton

I know living with stomach cancer

is not easy, but we do all our best.

We can schedule the treatment

 as soon as possible. I can't promise anything,

 but trying and do something about it is better

 than not do anything at all!"

Maddy(angry)" Right!"

Dr. Berton:"I am sorry, child! I had to be honest with you. "

Maddy: "Yeah whatever..."

Dr. Berton    ( nods)" I strongly suggest you to start the chemotherapy..."

Maddy :"What about my pain?"

Dr. Berton:( writing a prescription)  "These pills will ease the pain.Maddy,

 you know that your mother was my patient.I do all my best to help you survive this cancer."

Doctor Berton hands over the prescription to Maddy.

She sadly takes it  looks at them and goes out of the office. The New age store drives her attention.

INT. New Age store.day

It is a store full of magical potions, stones,strange string of garlic, clothes that can be rented during Halloween etc. Maddy does not look at any of those strange objects around. It seems like she is a regular customer. she takes some quarts and still is looking for something.

Old Danish lady is the stores manager. She gets closer to her.

Old Danish lady

"Are you looking for something,Maddy?"

Maddy:"I don't know just looking..."

Old Danish lady:Come with me.

(she goes towards an old shelf and takes out a green mojo bag)

Ok. take this, but do not open it now.Did you have a doctor appointment today?

Maddy: "How do you know that?!"

Old Danish lady: "It's a small town. News fly fast, child."

Maddy: "But i just came out of Doctor's office!"

Old Danish lady

(put her figure on her lips)

"There is always hope. I know what you were going to say, my child!"

Maddy

"How much should i pay for the mojo bag?"

Old Danish lady

"It's on the house. Now go home."

Maddy

"Thanks."

(Maddy goes out while the old Danish women follows her with  her worried eyes.)

EXT. outside the New Age store.day

She goes inside the pharmacy that is located near by the witchcraft store to buy her medicine.

We pan the entire street and  people.

EXT.pharmacy.day

Maddy comes out of the pharmacy. She notices some of her old classmates who say hello to her. She sadly looks down and passes by without answering them.

Ext.wood.day

Maddy is running. On the way she see a dog laying. One of his feet is trapped in an old hunting trap. Maddy comes closer and set free the dog. She takes out a piece of cloth and tries to clean up the blood. She caresses the dog and takes out a piece of salami from her bag pack and gives it to the dog. The dog eats it.

INT. maddy's home.day

She opens the door and enters into her expensive, nice designed and old house. On the wall there are series of old  pictures of her parents, grandparents and grand grand parents until the oldest generations. The antiques around the house tell stories of a family with ancient roots into the past. She goes to the kitchen, opens the refrigerator, grabs an apple, takes a bit ,goes to the living room ,takes the remote control and changes to the music channel.
After listening to the music for awhile, she goes toward the other room.

INT.the magic room.day

She comes in the room full of various potions, candles and an alter. She takes some candles, two rose- quarts stones and  a little bag which she bought from the old Danish lady.

She puts all to gather on the alter and starts meditating.
 She takes out of a  little mojo bag a piece of paper. There is a strange  script drives her attention, a mysterious sentence that she could not understand.

Maddy

            (with closed eyes)

“kbala la la kba !”

 She tries to visualize the pain is gone forever and takes out of the bag a stone with some strange carved symbols  on it.
she puts it on the alter beside the other items and closes her eyes again.

Maddy

“kbala la la kba !”

The stone starts to move around. She opens her eyes and become so surprised. The lights of the house goes out and she feels nervous and scared. She tries to put the light on the candle but it blows away. Suddenly the telephone rings .She takes  the receiver while is trembling.

someone

(with heavy breathing on the other side of the phone)

  Haaaaaa.....

Maddy

 "Hello …hello ?! "

Someone

“kbala la la kba !”

Suddenly A strong wind opens the windows. It’s very dark inside the house. The wind dances through her long , blond , shinny hair and her scared dark eyes are full of tears. She closes the windows, looks through the curtains and repeats the sentence:

Maddy

“kbala la la kba ?!”

Silence. She goes toward the telephone and hears nothing. When she comes back to the magic room, screams of surprise! A tall, old lady with a long white hair hovering  between the ground and ceiling while staring at her. She takes the stone and a minute later the old lady is gone.

All night she thinks about what had happened . she sits by the table and stares at the strange stone

EXT.STREET.NIGHT

We pan the entire street. It is snowing. It seems like everybody falls asleep. silence. We see Maddy,standing by the window and looking at the street.The snow is glimmering like the stars on top of the roofs. It seems like some body throws silver on houses. Everywhere is white,clean and beautiful.

INT.bedroom.night

Maddy comes in to her bedroom, lays on the bed and close  her eyes. After a few minutes she falls asleep. Her long eye lashes moves.

Her bedroom’s window is opened. A cold breeze caresses her hair.she moves her head around, feels cold and takes  the blanket over her body. She blinks.  For a second, sees a handsome, good looking man,27's, is looking at her. There is a crown on his head. He has a strong body and there is a thick old armband on his arm. Maddy opens widely her eyes and sits on her bed.The guy is gone.
She goes toward the window and close it.

EXT.TOWN.DAY

It is not a very cold day. People are getting ready for Christmas shopping. The town is crowded, heavy traffic,people running around, buying the  Christmas gifts, groceries and some young guys are skating across the streets. We see the Christmas decorations everywhere.

Maddy is jogging and looking at the Christmas decorations.

INT.store.day

Three girls are conversing and carrying their bags with Christmas gifts. One of them notices Maddy while she is jogging in the street.Jane, 18's blond hair and eyes points at Maddy.

Jane

"Look! The weirdo is jogging!"

Nicole

"Yeah. Since her parents died in the car crash. She stopped her contacts with her friends."

Jane

"She thinks she 's rich."

Maria

"How's that?"

Jane

"After her parents died, they left her lot of money. She does not need to work for her entire life!"

Nicole

"Are you jealous?"

Jane

"Shot up! No i am not..."

Nicole

"yes you are..."

(They all laugh)

Jane

"Anyway! They say she sits at home and paint weird things like vampires, dark stuff..."

Nicole

"weird! hah!"

They follow Maddy with their eyes.

EXT.cemetery.day

Maddy is jogging through the cemetery.A strange old woman comes closer with a friendly smile. She is the same old lady that he saw in her room. Her long white hair covers her strong shoulders. It’s obvious that she was a beautiful lady when she was young.A strange necklace with an interesting sign gives a special beauty on her appearance.

Maddy

Hi , do I know you?!

Zelda

"Blessings are for every one to have ! "

Maddy

"Have I seen you before ?!Are you talking to me?! "

Zelda

"It’s meant to be like this( smiles )

But you have to prove it first that you are worthy … "

Maddy

" I don’t understand (  confused ) what are you talking about ?! "

Zelda

" I have been waiting for you for such a long time, young lady!"

Maddy

"It looks like you can read people ‘s mind! Are you psychic? "

Zelda

(The old lady moves her head as she admires Madeleine ) You care for people,don't you?( She takes out her necklace and puts it around Madeleine’s neck. )come with me.

They disappear when Maddy feels the necklace on here neck.

CUT TO:

INT.cave.day

She finds herself in a cave. She looks at the perches, hanging on the wall. There are different talismans and dried plants hanging from the ceiling. In the center of the cave we a  quadrangle table. There are plenty dried flowers spread on the table along with incenses and a few empty glasses.

Zelda

"Here we are Would you like something to drink?"

Maddy

(still confused)

"A cope of tea, please!"

Zelda

( goes to make some tea)

"How have you been?"

Maddy

"I finished school and do some paintings these days....nothing much is happening. excuse me you talk to me like you know me or something!!!!"

Zelda

"Has God been opening your heart to what you

need to be happy with in your life?

 If you believe that God will give

 you your deepest desire, then be

patient and your life will become

filled with love and passion.

It’s amazing the power from above ...(gives her a cope pf tea)"

Maddy

"Thanks.I cannot explain some of

my life’s trials, but for the ones that

 I do understand, I ‘v conquered them and

 totally changed my life around.

I am kind of girl that needs to give and

 receive love.But i see no love...

everyone hates me...probably

 i talk too much."

The old lady smiles at her and feels the loneliness through her eyes. She goes toward the table and takes a small bottle and gives it to Maddy along with a necklace with 5 different signs on it.

Maddy

"what is it?"

Zelda

"Would you like to be happy and taste the gifts of life?"

Maddy

"Everybody does...(suspicious)Why are you trying to help me?! "

Zelda

"Because i promised to your parents, child!"

Maddy

( Surprised ) My parents ?!

Zelda

"It’s a long story. Now let's talk about your

 mission. If you bring 6 things for me,

i can make a potion and heal you.

You will never be sick again and

 you will posses a very long, healthy life."

Maddy

"what mission?"

Zelda

"First you must bring me, Vidar's shoe.

You must make a trip to Egypt.

 At the airport in Cairo a couple

will come and guide you and help

 you to do your mission.

 IF you fail to do so,you will lose your life."

Cut to:

EXT.cemetery.day

"Maddy feels  dizzy, she finds herself in

the cemetery.The bottle is in her

hand and a round trip ticket to

 Egypt with a check. Insert of

the tickets where stands the destination."

Ext.Maddy's house.day

Maddy is finished her daily jogging. She looks at her house and gets in the house.

INT. maddy's house.day

Maddy comes in and runs to the stairs to her bedroom.

INT.bedroom.day

Maddy changes her clothes and run toward the bathroom to take a shower. She puts the objects that the old lady gave her, on the bed.

INT.Shower.DAY

Maddy is taking a shower.

INT.room. day

Maddy is packing her clothes and necessary things for her trip.She looks at the window. It is snowy outside. She goes closer to the window and sees houses that are decorated with Christmas lights and Santa clause's statue  When she goes back to pack her stuff, a strange sign on the mirror drives her attention. It seems like someone drew it.She wonders who could be doing it? Nobody is there. The cleaning lady did not come today either!She goes toward the calendar to see if cleaning lady was scheduled to come there to day, but she was off.

She goes back and continue packing.

INT.bedroom.night

Maddy stares at ceiling and cannot sleep. She is excited about going to the trip.

INT.AIRPORT.DAY

Maddy passes through different gates in the airport. Some people are getting ready to travel to various countries, some solders and students are happy for going back home and celebrating Christmas with their family and relatives. They are talking and laughing aloud.
Maddy sits beside a soldier who is asleep.The other side, there are some soldiers  flirting with two sexy looking girls.Maddy looks at her watch,then goes towards the  flight schedule. It’s already delayed 30 minutes which is common at Christmas time.A young guy stares at Maddy for a long time. He smiles at her, she smiles back and  goes towards her gate.

INT. airport.day

Maddy goes to the aircraft. and finds her sit.It is a crowded aircraft.

EXT.sky.night

The aircraft flies in the vast sky.some people look at outside.

EXT.CAIRO AIRPORT.DAY

The airplane arrives at the Cairo airport. Some guys speak loud Arabic language. The passengers get off  the airplane. It is very warm day.Maddy goes towards the baggage department to get her baggage while looking for a couple who supposed to come and get her at the airport.
On the way EVA, 32's, accompanying  a tall handsome guy, ,Ali, 33's runs towards Maddy. They both look at Maddy's picture and recognize her.

ADA

"Excuse me, are you Madeleine?"

Maddy

"Yes."

ADA

"My name is Ada and this is my husband Ali. Nice to meet you.

We got a message to pick you up."

Maddy

"Nice to meet you too.Zelda told me about meeting you."

ADA

"you must be tired. we have reserved a

nice hotel where you can rest and fresh up a little."

Maddy

"Thanks, sounds wonderful."

They go to the baggage department. Maddy picks up her baggage.

EXT.parking lot.day

Maddy,Eva and Ali go toward the parking lot. Ali opens the car's door which is  a brand new  Mercedes Benz  and they  get in the car.

EXT.Cairo.day

Maddy is sitting in the car and looks at street,people in Cairo.An amazing city full of life and movement, with the noisy honking of horns, children playing in the streets and merchants selling their wears and services.

INT.car.day

It is a warm day. Maddy cannot wait to get to the hotel so she can take a shower and change her cloths. She  looks at the streets while Eva ’s husband ‘s driving. Ali breaks the silence.

Ali

"Have you been here ,before ? "

Maddy

"No this is my first time .Can you tell me about Cairo?"

Ali

" well,Cairo spreads across the coast of Nile in the south and is separated by two rivers: Rosetta and Damietta where present and pass meet each other. In the east side you see 2000 years old Muslim ,Christian and Jewish culture and in the west side, You see Memphis (Giza),the capital of the old empire, Pyramids one of  the seven wonders of the world… "

Ada

"As a matter of fact, when you are in Cairo, you feel like you are in a time machine.A travel through the history and the eternal civilization .My husband has a wide information about everything which could be helpful for you ,Madeleine!"

Maddy

"Please call me Maddy!So Zelda told you that I’d come? "

Ada

"Yes, she has friends everywhere.She is a good friend of us. That makes you our friend too. She asked us to help you. "

Ali

"Here we are."

He stops the car.

Ext. hotel.day

They arrive at a 5 star hotel.They get off the car and go toward the hotel with a traditional Egyptian design .

INT.hotel.day

They enter and Maddy looks at the walls.Ali speaks Arabic with the receptionist and gets the keys while Madeleine files out the hotels application form . The piccolo takes their baggage and invites them politely to their room .

INT.HOTELS ROOM.DAY

The piccolo opens Maddy’s room and puts her baggage inside. She pays him a tip and he goes out. For a moment she observes the room.It’s a beautiful,well designed suite .She goes towards the window and sees the beauty of Egypt. She has a good view to all over the city and the Nile river.Maddy goes to the bathroom to fresh up, changes her cloths.

INT.restaurant.day

They are at the restaurant and having their meals and talking to each other.Maddy feels uncomfortable in her stomach, takes out some tablets and swallow them.

ALI

"I went to Norway 10 years ago. I was senior student of the Cairo university and  had to finish my research in ancient Scandinavian  culture at the university in Oslo where I met my Ada .She had the same project and during my stay in Norway, I fall in love with her and a few months later we got married. "

MADDY

"Wonderful!"

ADA

"We love each other and are very happy."

Maddy

"Oh my God! This food is delicious!"

ALI

"Egyptian cuisine is one of the best!"

ADA

"About tomorrow. You should wake up early in the

morning since we have a few hours trip to the pyramids.

They notice a musician playing an instrument."

Cut to:

INT.HOTELS ROOM.NIGHT

Maddy looks at the window and stares at the sky full of dazzling stars. she goes and lays on the bed and stares at the Egyptian design on the ceiling. Suddenly,she feels some sort of energy around her. It is a shadow of a man.She feels like some one is looking at her.She tuns and sees no body.
She ‘s exhausted after a long trip and falls asleep right away . The shadow goes away.

INT.CAR.DAY

They are in the car and Ali is driving.

Ada with her beautiful kind smile gives a friendly expression to Maddy. Maddy feels like they know each other for such a long time.

Ada

"Did you sleep well last night ? "

Maddy

"Like a baby. "

Ada

"Good! Today we are going to Giza ,the ruined old Memphis and some places of Cairo. "

Maddy

"Great! I Read some stuff about Egypt at school,but could you tell me more about the pyramids?"

Ali

"Sure ! An Arabic proverb says" the Man is afraid of time and time is frightened by the Pyramids." The great pyramids which are build during 20 long years. First they put the blocks to gather and transport or carry each one toward the place where they ‘re built.No body knows how they placed them which is a mystery.Some people say that they used the ramps to carry the blocks but it’s just a theory .These pyramids have been witness of many events which has happened and sure these walls have many history to talk about. They were Joseph's neighbors, Faro’s  mountain. when Napoleon invaded  Egypt in 1798, he proudly stood there,looked at his soldiers and said:
”Solders! From the top of  these Pyramids, 4000 years looks at us" To day , these are the tourist attraction and Giza where you can find many museums and the mysterious sun boat which ‘s founded in 1954 in a area close to south side of the Pyramids.
It’s said that the boat was used for carrying  faro(Khufu) before his body was graved in the Pyramid. An only boat by which a person could pass through the dead river according to the Egyptian belief. "

Ada

"Egypt is a mysterious land!"

Madeleine takes a look at a piece of paper that Zelda gave her before the trip.

Maddy

"Find the vidar's shoe!"

ADA

"Zelda asked you to find it?"

Maddy

"How am i supposed to find Vidar's shoe in Egypt?!"

They arrive to the pyramid area.

EXT.ROAD TO THE PYRAMIDS.DAY

They are walking towards one of the pyramids.

Maddy

I still don't understand why in here.

ADA

"Let me see it.. I have studied mythology in college.Let’s see this is an old language says find the Vidar’s shoe. Vidar was a coordinator of this physical world with his wife,daughter of Norn. According to the Viking’s myth, we don’t have any power over the physical world.We have no power due to change the things which happen to us. Vidar is a silent God who serves the others gods.He fought and kicked  the butt of Ragnarok, the wild god  with his mysterious shoes..He was very powerful and strong god. "

Maddy

 How can I find them in here?!

Ali

"Let me look at the paper again.
There is  a sign in the paper. If we compares with a sign on the wall of one of those pyramids... "

Ali finds a guy and talks in Arabic. They go toward one of the pyramids.Ali talks with another guide near to the tomb.They all enter the tomb.

INT.tomb.day

They enter inside the tomb.The guide whispers kind of prayer while entering.Maddy with her eyes wide open looks at the signs and touches the humid walls.There are several  corridors on their way.
On the way towards one of the corridors, Ali stops and looks at the different signs on the wall. He touches one of the walls.It opens slowly and many corridors appear in from of their eyes.

ADA

"It’s time to read that spell which we took,Ali. "

Ali

(Whispers a prayer)

"Look, there is something in here."

Maddy

"what is it?"

Ali

"A big...spider...run..."

A big spider appears and they all runaway including the guides. They find a place and sit there. It is another long corridor. They guides are gone. Maddy feels pain in her stomach. Ada starts to telling a story while they are resting.

Maddy

"hey look...i found something!"

ALI

"This is it!"

Maddy

"what?"

ALI

"The vidar's shoe!"

Maddy

"It is a coin?!"

ALI

"congratulations Maddy! You made it!"

Ada

"Wonderful! I remember a Scandinavian legend which says..."

DISSOLVE TO:

INT.Niflheim palace.night

A mysterious palace where is endlessly cold and dark.We see a man, 30's, has a crown on his head and is sitting on the throne with Viking design. This man is Hell,one of the Loke's sons. He is surrounded by his best vikings who look unhappy but we see fear of the king in their eyes.

A man comes to him, and respectfully tells him of the lands faraway.A close shot of Hell that smiles and send some men out. His warriors respectfully leave the scene.

We hear Ada's voice.

ADA

“ In the north , was a palace called Niflheim 

 where is endlessly cold and dark where

 the hell’s gods govern. Hell was one of Loke’s sons.

The Vikings knew that” the polar cycle “ is located

a long way up to the North where is cold and freezing

and the sun never shines in winter.They hated

the cold and knew that in the south of Muspelheim,

there is a land of light and warmth.

The land of son of Myspel,the great fire fighter."

                                                                          DISSOLVE TO:

EXT.SEA.DAY

Hell's warriors are sailing on a Viking ship.One of them takes out his jacket and looks at the sky. He feels the warmth of the Sun and smiles. The other Vikings take off their jackets made by goat's skin and letter.

We hear Ada's voice

ADA

The Vikings traveled from the North of pole down to the

 south where’s getting warmer and warmer.

They had heard the stories about the  hot deserts in

Africa and Arabia where’s impossible to live because of hot weather.
They believed in Vidar the powerful God who could

live everywhere and is a guide to make a better

 life and blessings. That’ why they graved his

shoes on a coin which was used during that time . "

A viking is carving a design on a coin and holds it on his hand. INSERT of the coin.

 DISSOLVE TO:PRESENT TIME

INT. tomb.day

A close shot of Ada and Maddy.

Maddy

"So he came all the way in here!"

Ada

"Yes. vikings loved these areas."

EXT. street.day

Maddy,Ada and Ali look at various traditional Egyptian souvenirs. Maddy keeps looking at the Vidar's coin in her hand.

INT. hotel's room.night

Maddy is looking at the ceiling and closes her eyes.

DREAM

                                                                        DISSOLVE TO:

INT.strange room.night

Madeleine finds herself in a strange room. It is dark. A danish old woman is sitting in the center of the room. She looks at a crystal ball. like where looks like a dream .
The old lady with her crystal ball.She invites Maddy to sit and puts her hand on the ball.

It appears  some smoke inside the ball. We see a tree that appears in the smoke.

Oldwoman

Mmmmmm , Yggdrasill !

The tree of Ash in the center of the world!

 (she continues looking without paying attention to Maddy )

The tree of world holds inside
The great knowledge of the world of all time.

On the highest branch is sitting an eagle

and under  the root  sleeping snake They hate each other.

Maddy

"why?!"

Oldwoman

""I see a squirrel that runs ups and down between

them and tells them what they think about each other.

Under the tree flows a spring with a cold water of Mimir.

 If you drink the water, you get the knowledge of wisdom.

 You receive the eternal life and the real understanding

of life …the meaning of life.I see Odin ,the great Odin,here. "

Maddy

"what about him?"

Oldwoman

"He believed that was important to become

 wise so he gave one of his eyes to the spring

 as a gift in exchange of drinking some of

Long shot of a land.It appears a beautiful land  surrounded by wild yellow ,daisy and  violet  flowers,rivers runs toward the steps and green land , the mountains,the birds sing songs, the sky is crystal blue It looks like a heavenly paradise!

The necklace shows the way by it’s light. Maddy is amazed by the beautiful nature and the land. she wants to go up a tree in the middle. Suddenly a strong hand takes her arm and lifts her up.
Maddy i surprised.

Suddenly a dragon appears in front of Maddy’s surprised and fearful eyes. The man fights with the dragon. After a moment lots of blood comes out of the month of the dragon.

Odin

" Hurry ,there is no time left.

They run towards the tree of life."

Maddy

"Is that the tree of life? "

Odin

"Yes!we have to get there before getting to late. "

Maddy

"why are we in hurry? You have already killed the dragon! "

Odin

"This dragon never dies. "

Maddy

"The great Odin?! No kidding!"

Maddy gets closer to the tree of life and carefully looks at her both sides to make sure that everything is alright,then she bends and  drinks some water and takes some with herself in a bottle.
The same dragon comes closer to her,but a flying axes cuts the dragon into half. Maddy scared pulls herself back. The axes flies back toward  the hand of a young ,strong blond hair. He has a  crown on his head.

Maddy watches the road. The wind caresses her long hair. The atmosphere is filed with the sent of wild flowers and orange trees.

They get closer to a big crowded market. People are buying goods and sellers sell their products to their customers and children play around. 

They go toward the palace.

There are tow guards who stand at the gate. The guards  knell down  in  front of Maddy.

"I thought Persepolis was burnt by Alexander the great in  331 BC! "

"Yes but the great king Xerxes gave them a good lesson, my lady.  Please enter in, my lady!"

They go inside the palace.

The driver stops and Maddy walks slowly in a big hall.

The magnificent palace is surrounded by a beautiful  garden with trees and flowers. Everything is made by gold.The sign of two lions holding a crown is seen on everywhere. A middle aged woman approaches her with her two maids. She has dark brown long hair and wears a long white dress made by silk. She wears a crown with the same sign of lions. A tick arm band, made by gold and diamonds pleases one's eyes. She wears a beautiful necklace made by diamond, sapphire and rubies.

"This is the queen of Persia,Manddana."

MANDDANA

(opens her arms towards Maddy)

"Ahurmazda, The God of goodness!I cannot believe my eyes!"

( her maids stand aside with respect)

She runs towards Maddy and embraces her. One of her maids, 25's, stands behind the queen.

Manddana

"My child, my beautiful child. (she cries)

Do you know how much I prayed to Ahurmazda

 for not letting you to pass the river of death?

Praise the Ahurmazda for hearing me and sending you back to me,my dearest child ! Let me see you. "
(She holds Maddy's arms and looks at her )

She takes Madeleine’s hand and they go to another big room.

The boll of fire is seen in the center. We pan the entire temple. There are the sign of lions are everywhere and the incenses and burnt offerings are seen beside the fire. 

There is a giant  standing statue that is kindly looking down behind the boll of fire.

"Yes my queen."

( she goes out)

"He should see the miracle!Atessa!"

There is a coffin made by gold near to the statue.

There is a big swimming pool covered with rose petals in the middle. The maids and servants are preparing the bath for Maddy. She is half naked and is waiting for warming up the water. There is another pool of milk. A servant invites her to go inside the pool of milk. She slowly puts her feet and gives her towel to another maid and slowly sits inside the pool of milk. Two maids are laughing and washing her with milk. Then maids wash Maddy with water.

A big room with flowers everywhere. Two maids are helping Maddy to put the royal dress on.

She wears a beautiful long golden dress. Her white shoulders and breasts are shown and designed with royal jeweleries. A maid wants to take off Maddy's necklace but Maddy does not let her. The maid with respect put her armband with the royal design.

Two maid holds a mirror in front of Maddy. She looked fantastic.

The queen comes in to the room.

"Oh,Look at you! You are dazzling!

The banquet is arranged! Everybody

 will be there,Your father still don’t know.

He will be surprised. I always wanted to

 surprise him. Let’s get ready.
The sun hides behind the mountain

 and the starts coming out.It’s a full moon.

The sky is lighter and every where

 is decorated with lights, you see. "

The queen (Manddana )and Madeleine (Atessa) leave the room.

INT.the banquet.night

The gardens are designed by the white linen and purple materials. There are silver rings on the marble pillars and golden couches standing  on a mosaic pavement of porphyry, marble, mother-of pearl and the other costly stones.Wine is served in goblets of gold, each one different from the other, and the royal wine is  abundant, in keeping with the queen’s liberality. By her command each guest is allowed to drink in their own way. The queen, Manddana  instructed all the wine stewardess to serve each man what he wishes.

The great king Darius, enters in the hall and goes toward his thrown and sits there.Silence. His  ministers and consolers bending and showing him a great respect. The king is curious about the occasion but does not show on his face. He is tall and strong, his black hair gave a handsome look on his fair skin. He is a handsome, middle aged man. The king of kings is 45 years old. His strong arms tell us stories about wars in the far east, Africa and Greece. He notices every single details around him.  His minister and generals are pleased to see him. Silence. The king waves a little and four  slaves bring in a small box. Silence.Music. We pan the banquet to see who are in the banquet. The foreign generals and royal family are sitting in both sides of the palace.

We have a close shot of a box. Insert of a par of arms dancing slowly out of the box and we see a half naked dancer, moving her body out of the box. The king is watching her and the queen is watching the king to see if he is pleased with the dancing.

The king looks slowly at his beloved wife. A woman that he has loved in his life, the one. The king shows his hand and take her hand. The queen is dazzling in her white, sexy dress.

"That how much  the king adore the queen of Persia!"

MANDDANA

"Oh my love! I am flattered by such romantic flame!"

"Your Jade like eyes and ice like skin are naturally

There are six maids in the bathing hall. Two of them are giving Farnoosh a bath. A maid comes to her and dry her young, fair body. Another maid put perfumes on her clothes which is a beautiful blue color silk dress. The other one comb her long black hair.

It is a beautiful royal bedroom.We pan the royal objects in the room, the curtains and fruits on a round table with a bottle of win.

"The harem had to undergo a year of preparation for a single night that will make her either queen or concubine.The night has come.

We see her standing on here long blue gown in the middle of the royal bedroom. The young king in his 19's enters the room. Farnoosh looks at the ground. The young Darius comes closer, lift her chin up. He smiles by seeing a pair of big scared eyes that slowly looks up at him. She wants to kneel down but young Darius does not let her."

King Darius  is coming back from hunting deer with his

courtesans.

Darius and Farnoosh are sitting in their throne and surrounded by the courtesans and the generals.Farnoosh is pregnant. Darius looks at her ans smiles at her belly.

Farnoosh is in pain. Several doctors are on her bed and try to help her with the baby.

Darius and Farnoosh are having dinner. Farnoosh takes his hand and Darius slowly takes off his hand. We see Farnoosh's sad face.

Farnoosh is laying on the bed and waiting for Darius.

Darius is cuddling with two young women. He is drinking win  and kissing one of the women's breast while another woman is licking and kissing Darius's body. They all are laughing.Darius is drunk.

Farnoosh madly laughs while stirring a potion inside a big pot.

Meheregan festival. The king, his queen and Maddy are sitting on their thrones. Silence. Three priests and the great priest are approaching a porch. The great priest holding a little porch in his hand.Silence.

"Blessed be Ahormaza!

Thank be to Mitra the goddess.

The Sun is said to be the eye of Mitra,

or of the compound Asura "Mitravaruna" analogous to

Mithra-Ahura in Avesta our holy book,

Darius nods his head. The priest put a fire on the big porch. the great priest bend toward Darius.

PEOPLE

"Happy Mehregan!Happy autumn."

  Dancers come in the center and dance around the big porch. The other dancers are dancing in the middle symbolically demonstrating a harvest. Some male dancers supporting symbolically their harvest. People are happy and drinking win.

Darius is drinking and conversing with the queen. Maddy is amazed by seeing the whole festival.

People gather around the big porch, hand in hand, shape a circle. They round around.

The guardian calls Franoosh’s name for informing Darius of her coming. A few minutes later she and her two maids come in with her shinning, long dress and gifts in her maids hands.
Farnoosh kneels down in front of the king. Her sad eyes look down. King is surprised by seeing her.

Farnoosh

"Long live the king of kings, Darius! "

DARIUS

"Blessed be, Farnoosh the lady of long lands."

(Manndana seems worried)

FARNOOSH

"My Atessa live long. I brought some gifts for her as i heard that she feels well, my lord!I ask for permission to give the gifts."

Darius nods and Farnoosh let her maids give gifts in the boxes to Maddy. A maid brings the gifts to Maddy. She looks at them and nods her head as a sign of thankfulness.

People are dancing. The king is drinking and kissing Manddana's hand.Farnoosh sadly looks at them.

Maddy with her maids are walking in  garden toward the palace. She sees Farnoosh and her maids.

"sure."( she let her maids go away)

"It was wonderful! How about you,Farnoosh?"

FARNOOSH

Farnoosh leaves the scene and Maddy approaches  a hall near the garden. She  meets a man, 25's tall and good looking.This man is Alexander.

Priests are standing by the queen and king Darius. A coffin is in the center ,covered by flowers. Maddy is laying in the coffin.

Six soldiers bring in Farnoosh. She is handcuffed.

She sticks the dagger in Farnoosh's stomach.

Farnoosh falls down.

"I ...am...the real queen of Persia.

 I did not deserve this life in misery.

Farewell my sad world,cause i am free now.

She dies in front of their eyes. Darius embraces Manddana."

Maddy is laying on bed in a room at the hospital. She opens her eyes. She is surrounded by doctor Berton  and three nurses.

Maddy

EXT.STREET.NIGHT

Maddy is walking. It is raining. Maddy is in her deep thoughts.

It’s a quiet night. An old couple hand in hand are going across the street and enjoying their walk. some meters farther there is a lady walks her dog. Some Young boys and girls are laughing and talking aloud on the way to the club.

Four guys are drinking and smashing the window of a restaurant. The owner of the small restaurant tries to disperse them but they won't do.. One of them takes a big stone and throws to the restaurant's big,expensive window.They four guys run away when they see he is calling the police.

The restaurant's owner yell at them.

Owner

"what have i done to you? why can't you leave me alone?why? why?This is the 3rd time that you are breaking my window. "

Maddy slowly passes by him.

We hear The sound of wild dogs from afar. It begins to
snow .
A little farther  There is a fight outside of a pub. There are six guys who are beating up a slim man in his 40s. He tries to protect his eyes. one of them takes his hand and the other one kicks his face. After a minute his face becomes full of blood  Another one  takes his hand and screws in the opposite side. The poor guy shots of pain.

THE MAN

"I just wanted to use the bathroom".

I even don’t drink  alcohol! I wish I never used the bathroom in here!"

They are beating up him crazily and nobody comes to help the man. Maddy  hides herself behind a wall and looks at this event.

The man falls down and is unconscious. The street gangs disperse. A few minutes later an ambulance come with a police car.

A stranger follows Maddy. She walks faster.

Stranger

Hey …I am talking to you,bitch!

stranger

Ok i am sorry...wait...

EXT.SHORT CUT.NIGHT

Maddy walks faster suddenly the stranger appears.

Strenager

"Not so fast...baby"

Maddy

"Let me go..."

STRANGER

"or what?"

Maddy

"I scream..."

STRANGER

"Scream as much as you want, no body hear you."

He  puts a knife on her throat and try to rap Maddy.

Some wild dogs run toward the stranger. This gives an opportunity to Maddy to run away. The dogs bit  different parts of his body. Maddy runs while looking back. She hears the stranger screaming and asking for help. Silence. Maddy is scared and dare not to look at the dogs. They come closer to Maddy. Maddy stops. The dogs slowly make a circle round around Maddy. One of the dogs comes closer to Maddy.

Maddy is very scared. The dog comes closer and starts to lick Maddy's hand. When Maddy opens her eyes, she recognizes the dog.

MADDY

"It is YOU....awww thank you for saving my life."

Dog looks at Maddy and runs with the other dogs leaving Maddy with a feeling of thankfulness.

INT. magic room.DAY

Maddy is meditating. The rood is filed with smoke of incense.The stone stands in the middle of the room and starts shaking. A voice comes out of the stone.

Voice

"You should go to 600 BC Chu dynasty in China. The rest will be clear to you."

EXT.NEAR BY Chinese mansion/PERGOLA.night

It’s a beautiful Chinese mansion  which belongs to one of the generals in Chu dynasty. Lady Sun, 27's,  is sitting in a pergola near by the mansion. She wear a blue silk dress with red flowers.A maid is sitting beside her and  reading a beautiful poem.A musician maid, 15 years old is playing a Chinese instrument. There is a pool beside the pergola covered with lotus flowers and a bridge up the pool is a connection between two sides of the pool.Lady Sun is drinking Jasmine tea and listens to the poetry and music.
The atmosphere is filed with birds songs ,dragonflies and the melody of the Chinese instrument.Maddy notices them through bamboo tree near b. She is in a beautiful pink Chinese silk dress and her hair is carefully designed with flowers. Maddy is completely overwhelmed to find herself in ancient China !

Maid

"Lady Sun, the following poem belongs to Wang Bo. May I read it?"

Lady Sun

"By all means."

Maid

"By the stands high Prince Teng’s Pavilion proud
No more ringing bells punctuate dancers refrain  At dawn its painted beams bar the south flying cloud,
At dusk its up rolled screens reveal western
Hill 's rain leisurely clouds hang still waters all day long,
Stars move from spring to autumn in a changeless sky.
Where is the prince who once enjoyed her wine and songs?
Beyond the rails the silent river still rolls by ... "

(notices Maddy)

"AnMai …what are you doing there? Come over here and have some tea with us. "

Maddy

"Are you talking to me?"

Lady sun

"who else could be?Of course i am talking to you! Come here!"

Maddy

"Thanks. I love Jasmin tea."

Lady sun

"You have no idea how much i miss Liu Bei!"

Maddy

"Who is he?"

Lady sun

"what's wrong with you today?Don't you remember my husband,Liu Bei?!"

Maddy

Lady sun

"Don't be...I miss him so much. It's been a long time since he went to ask the white dragon to join him against Cao Cao? Liu Bei's friends Guang YU and Shang Fei are with him. The three warriors will fight against Cao Cao the wicked man. The whole country will be ruined if he gets the power.I have heard that his soldiers invade houses and takes away  peoples food, steal their cattle and horses. Cao Cao has no shame. He also took away many women. I know that Liu Bei will unite the country and people live in peace again."

Maddy

"Yes, Liu Bei is a great man."

Lady sun

"I admire him for his ambition. He was only one of the kings generals. He worked very hard to be where he is right now."

Maddy

"yes indeed."

LADY SUN

"I hope the white dragon be agree with cooperation. He is the wisest man who knows strategies to win the war. Liu Bei really needs to have such man among his advisers. He lives in the mountain. Liu Bei worked very hard to meet him but he never opend his gates for Liu Bei."

Maddy

"why is that?"

LADY SUN

"I don't know maybe he wants to test if Liu Bei really want him for his knowledge and power of mind or just try to add another adviser in his team."

Maddy

"It is obvious that Liu Bei needs him that's why he went there up to the mountain to meet with him."

LADY SUN

"white dragon is a scientist. He is very different from the other ones. It's been six months since Liu Bei is gone only for the sake of meeting the white dragon.I think the white dragon wants to test Liu Bei's patience.My husband sat near by white dragon's gate for six months to get into the white dragons palace and talk with him!"

Maddy

"That is a long time!why does not he choose another person."

LADY SUN

"Liu Bei wants only white dragon as the head of his advisers and no one else."

Maddy

"why does not white dragon want to meet Liu Bei."

"He hates the war."

A messenger runs toward them.

 Archery is compulsory in the army and emphasizes in the schools. "

There are also courses such as the Li Chi (Book of Ritual),the Shang Shu (Book of History),the Yi Ching (Book of Changes) or the Shih Ching (Book of Poetry).The Book of Poetry, for example, reports that dancing, martial arts and combats with weapons.

Lie Bei's troop are waiting for Liu Bei's return from the mountain. It's a cold day and win blows through the troop's falgs. Shang Fei, 40's old impatiently is waiting.He is a fat but strong man and plays with his tick round beard. Guang Yu, 42 's, long beard until his stomach and his wide shoulders are covered by his long straight hair. Guang Yu notices Shang Fei's impatience and hot temper attitude but calmly looks around.

Shang Fei

"why took him so long?"

Guang Yu

"Be patient!"

SHANG FEI

"I don't understand why Liu Bei insist to ask White dragon to join us?!"

GUANG YU

"Cause he is good at what he is doing!He is a competent expert!"

SHANG FEI

"Now you are insulting me!"( put his hand on his sword as a sign of menace)

GUANG YU

 ( He does not react.It seems as he is used to his freind's hot temper)

"Calm down, Shang Fei! You know that i did not mean to insult. I am only saying that Liu Bei needs men like white dragon that's all."

SHANG FEI

"Sometimes you remind me of my wife!You are so calm. How could you be so calm? He 's gone two days up to the mountain, waiting at white dragon's door. ( notice's a medallion in his neck)I see you still carry it! Do you miss her?"

GUANG YU

"I miss her a lot!"

SHANG FEI

"God bless her soul!( looks at top pf the mountain) It must be very cold up there!

EXT. top of the mountain.day

Long shot of Liu Bei that is climbing the  mountain. we see his hands reaches the top. He lefts his whole body up. He stands up and is  breathing fast. He find himself in front of a castle's gate.

A white eagle is flying above the sky mysteriously.The eagle goes inside the castle and after a few minutes,the gate opens and  a mysterious man, 60's,man comes out.
Liu Bei  is about to introduce himself but the old man invites him in politely.

The hall is designed with images of battle fields.Liu Bei is amazed by observing the images.

In the center of the hall a sitting man,50's, modestly awaiting Liu Bei.Liu Bei notices him and shows bends over.

White dragon

"I admire your patience, Lie Bei.

 Please come closer. You must be hungry."

(claps and the old man shows up) Bring us some food!( the  old man nods respectfully and goes out)

Liu Bei

"It is worth waiting for such a  wise man!"

white dragon

"Not so many people have such patience! I truly admire you!"

MUSIC. They continue their conversation.The old servant enters with a big plate of food. White dragon invites him to eat.

Liu Bei with his generals are riding their horses and waving to people across the road who are happy for their coming.

INT.BANQUET.night

It is a great banquet . Liu Bei with  his wife,his generals and their wives,his divisions officers,  Maddy and white dragon are there enjoying their meals. Everywhere is decorated with red, yellow,blue and white colors. Musicians are playing  an old Chinese music and some actors are performing the Chinese opera. for them.Guests are having their meals and drinking rice spirit.  round tables are every where and every body are sitting on Maddy enjoys drinking her jasmine tea.
During the diner some dancers come in and begins to perform the sword dance.The dancers body is as flexible as a piece of robber and they use the sword fighting techniques as well.
  They eat and drink all night and during this time the white dragon looks at Maddy  once awhile in a mysterious way. Madeleine is having her great time and preparing to leave the banquet with a maid.

EXT.garden.night

Maddy is walking in the garden. She is looking at the beautiful flowers and enjoys their scent.She looks at a bird that she never had seen in her entire life. White dragon comes out if the banquet and notices the bird.

White dragon

"We call it the bird of bad luck. It’s a very rare bird. (Maddy notices him)

They don't usually show up!
You must be a special person!

Your life certainly will be changed after awhile,I presume."

Maddy

"Is that right?!"

Lady sun

"Oh you are here An Mai!"

Maddy

Yes.

Lady Sun

"Did you enjoy the banquet White Dragon?"

White dragon

Yes indeed. The dancing was quit interesting lady sun!

Lady sun

"They have several rehearsals! I am glad that you enjoyed it.AnMai
I have decided to join Liu Bei. "

Maddy

"why?"

Lady Sun

"May we be excused?"

White dragon

"Of course Madam."( he leaves them alone)

LADY SUN

 "My fortune tellers have told me that

this is going to be the last time that I be with liu Bei.

 I love him so much and I don’t want to lose him! "

Maddy

"You can't possibly believe what they say!"

LADY SUN

"I do believe them. They always tell me the truth!"

Maddy

"what Liu Bei say"

LADY SUN

"I have not discussed this matter with him yet!"

Lady Sun and Liu Bei just made love. They both are looking at the ceiling.

"I want to come with you"

LIU BEI

"It is very dangerous, my dove!"

LADY SUN

"I don't want anything bad happen to you."

LADY SUN

"I am not afraid,cause you are with me!"

LIU BEI

"It is not safe. You must take the baby and go to the East. "

Liu Bei and his troop are marching the road.

EXT. village.day

The army of Cao Cao rid every where and are burning the houses and the crops. They have no mercy on no one. children. War is showing it’s ugly face .The atmosphere is full of hollers of women and children who are running for their lives.

INT.Liu Bei's camp.day

Liu Bei, White Dragon and his generals are making a plan.

EXT.Eastern camp.day

Maddy, Lady Sun and her maids are drinking tea near to the camp.

INT.camp.night

Soldiers are asleep. Liu Bei and white dragon are still planning for the great war in their tent.

A messenger brings a bad news that the division of the enemy who came from the land of the Sun has already took over the palace and killed the king! This terrible news made Liu Bei very sad and angry.

EXT.EASTERN CAMP.DAY

Maddy along with a maid go to bring some water. A soldier who belong to Cao Cao is observing them behind the bushes.

Maddy and the maid leaves the scene. Inside the tent Lady Sun with her maid and her 6 months old baby having their meals.

EXT. river.day

Maddy feels pain in her stomach. After a long walk she finds a river and pours in water in the vases then sits there for awhile to rest. All of sudden some body put her bloody hand on Maddy's shoulder, scared turns back .It is one of the maids with lady Sun's baby in her arms.
Maddy take her by shoulder.

Maddy

What happened?

MAID

 The attacked us …(coughs ) they have been following us … one of us is a betrayer …

Maddy

"Who?!"

MAID

"Two of them wanted to rap her.

 Lady Sun gave me the baby and

throw herself in a dried well and

They tried to get her …but …but it  …was …too late ..i run

with the baby.They shot me with  an arrow but i was able to runaway. "

 She dies in Maddy's arm. Maddy takes the crying baby and runaway. She runs for an hour then sits somewhere to rest . Close up the child is constantly crying and she does not know how to make him quiet . All of a sudden she become surrounded by four of Cao Cao ‘s men ....

EXT.Namsos.Norway.day

Long Shot, Namsos, a town located in central Norway.The small Norwegian houses are decorated with Christmas decorations.Everywhere is covered by snow and gave a mystical beauty to this town, where is surrounded by mountains and fjords.

MUSIC. The opening credits roll over a series of shots of  people. We pan the houses and find a particular house where our story begins. It is a big mystical white color house surrounded by pin trees. We see the windows and stop on a window. A close up the window. We get closer to the window and see a girl.

                                          DISSOLVE TO:

INT.room. day

The girl's name is Madeleine. We call her Maddy, 18 years old,  is sitting by her computer and writing her diary.Her room is decorated nicely with her dolls, paintings and books on the bookshelf.

We hear  the  news on TV from the living room. She feels pain in her stomach and goes towards the kitchen, picks up the box of medicine and  takes out a couple of tablets. She  swallows them and drinks a glass of water. The pain gets worth. She picks up the phone and dials a number.

                                             DISSOLVE TO:

INT.DOCTOR's office.day

Doctor Jacob Berton, 58 years old, looks at Maddy kindly. Worry lines crease his forehead and the gray at his temples attest to years of medical practice and sleepless nights.They are in the middle of a conversation.

 
Maddy:

I feel severe pain in my stomach.

I have been Feeling full or bloated

after a small meal and the nausea, vomiting

are killing me!

Dr. Berton

" You might not like this and i want to be honest with you

 ...after viewing the x-ray and biopsy result,

 i am afraid to tell you that you have stomach

cancer!

The cancer has gone too far and

 you don't have much time to live!So we can help you to ease the pain.."

Maddy

"Are there any treatments for me?"

Maddy's eyes are filed of tears. A drop of tear monists her lips.

Dr. Berton

"There are ways for instance:Local therapy.

We use surgery and radiation therapy which 

are local therapies. They remove or destroy

 cancer in or near the stomach.

When stomach cancer has spread to

 other parts of the body, local therapy

may be used to control the disease in

those specific areas. There is also another

way which is Chemotherapy.

The drug enters the bloodstream and

destroys or controls cancer throughout the body!"

Maddy (devastated)

"Is there any hope?"

Dr. Berton

I know living with stomach cancer

is not easy, but we do all our best.

We can schedule the treatment

 as soon as possible.I can't promise anything,

 but trying and do something about it is better

 than not do anything at all!"

Maddy(angry)" Right!"

Dr. Berton:"I am sorry, child! I had to be honest with you. "

Maddy: "Yeah whatever..."

Dr. Berton    ( nods)" I strongly suggest you to start the chemotherapy..."

Maddy :"What about my pain?"

Dr. Berton:( writing a prescription)  "These pills will ease the pain.Maddy,

 you know that your mother was my patient.I do all my best to help you survive this cancer."

Doctor Berton hands over the prescription to Maddy.

She sadly takes it  looks at them and goes out of the office. The New age store drives her attention.

INT. New Age store.day

It is a store full of magical potions, stones,strange string of garlics, clothes that can be rented during Halloween etc. Maddy does not look at any of those strange objects around. It seems like she is a regular customer. she takes some quarts and still is looking for something.

Old Danish lady is the stores manager. She gets closer to her.

Old Danish lady

"Are you looking for something,Maddy?"

Maddy:"I don't know just looking..."

Old Danish lady:Come with me.

(she goes towards an old shelf and takes out a green mojo bag)

Ok. take this, but do not open it now.Did you have a doctor appointment today?

Maddy: "How do you know that?!"

Old danish lady: "It's a small town. News fly fast,child."

Maddy: "But i just came out of Doctor's office!"

Old Danish lady

(put her figure on her lips)

"There is always hope. I know what you were going to say, my child!"

Maddy

"How much should i pay for the mojo bag?"

Old Danish lady

"It's on the house. Now go home."

Maddy

"Thanks."

(Maddy goes out while the old danish women follows her with  her worried eyes.)

EXT. outside the New Age store.day

She goes inside the pharmacy that is located near by the witchcraft store to buy her medicine.

We pan the entire street and  people.

EXT.pharmacy.day

Maddy comes out of the pharmacy. She notices some of her old classmates who say hello to her. She sadly looks down and passes by without answering them.

Ext.wood.day

Maddy is running. On the way she see a dog laying. One of his feet is trapped in an old hunting trap. Maddy comes closer and set free the dog. She takes out a piece of cloth and tries to clean up the blood. She caresses the dog and takes out a piece of salami from her bag pack and gives it to the dog.The dog eats it.

INT. maddy's home.day

She opens the door and enters into her expensive, nice designed and old house. On the wall there are series of old  pictures of her parents, grandparents and grand grand parents until the oldest generations. The antiques around the house tell stories of a family with ancient roots into the past. She goes to the kitchen, opens the refrigerator,grabs an apple, takes a bit ,goes to the living room ,takes the remote control and changes to the music channel.
After listening to the music for awhile, she goes toward the other room.

INT.the magic room.day

She comes in the room full of various potions, candles and an alter. She takes some candles,two rose- quarts stones and  a little bag which she bought from the old danish lady.

She puts all to gather on the alter and starts meditating.
 She takes out of a  little mojo bag a piece of paper.There is a strange  script drives her attention, a mysterious sentence that she could not understand.

Maddy

            (with closed eyes)

“kbala la la kba !”

 She tries to visualize the pain is gone forever and takes out of the bag a stone with some strange carved symbols  on it.
she puts it on the alter beside the other items and closes her eyes again.

Maddy

“kbala la la kba !”

The stone starts to move around. She opens her eyes and become so surprised. The lights of the house goes out and she feels nervous and scared. She tries to put the light on the candle but it blows away. Suddenly the telephone rings .She takes  the receiver while is trembling.

someone

(with heavy breathing on the other side of the phone)

  Haaaaaa.....

Maddy

 "Hello …hello ?! "

Someone

“kbala la la kba !”

Suddenly A strong wind opens the windows.It’s very dark inside the house. The wind dances through her long , blond , shinny hair and her scared dark eyes are full of tears. She closes the windows, looks through the curtains and repeats the sentence:

Maddy

“kbala la la kba ?!”

Silence. She goes toward the telephone and hears nothing. When she comes back to the magic room, screams of surprise! A tall, old lady with a long white hair hovering  between the ground and ceiling while staring at her. She takes the stone and a minute later the old lady is gone.

All night she thinks about what had happened . she sits by the table and stares at the strange stone

EXT.STREET.NIGHT

We pan the entire street. It is snowing. It seems like everybody falls asleep. silence. We see Maddy,standing by the window and looking at the street.The snow is glimmering like the stars on top of the roofs. It seems like some body throws silver on houses. Everywhere is white,clean and beautiful.

INT.bedroom.night

Maddy comes in to her bedroom, lays on the bed and close  her eyes. After a few minutes she falls asleep. Her long eye lashes moves.

Her bedroom’s window is opened. A cold breeze caresses her hair.she moves her head around, feels cold and takes  the blanket over her body. She blinks.  For a second,sees a handsome,good looking man,27's, is looking at her.There is a crown on his head. He has a strong body and there is a thick old armband on his arm. Maddy opens widely her eyes and sits on her bed.The guy is gone.
She goes toward the window and close it.

EXT.TOWN.DAY

It is not a very cold day. People are getting ready for Christmas shopping. The town is crowded, heavy traffic,people running around, buying the  Christmas gifts, groceries and some young guys are skating across the streets. We see the Christmas decorations everywhere.

Maddy is jogging and looking at the Christmas decorations.

INT.store.day

Three girls are conversing and carrying their bags with Christmas gifts. One of them notices Maddy while she is jogging in the street.Jane, 18's blond hair and eyes points at Maddy.

Jane

"Look! The weirdo is jogging!"

Nicole

"Yeah. Since her parents died in the car crash. She stopped her contacts with her friends."

Jane

"She thinks she 's rich."

Maria

"How's that?"

Jane

"After her parents died, they left her lot of money. She does not need to work for her entire life!"

Nicole

"Are you jealous?"

Jane

"Shot up! No i am not..."

Nicole

"yes you are..."

(They all laugh)

Jane

"Anyway! They say she sits at home and paint weird things like vampires, dark stuff..."

Nicole

"weird! hah!"

They follow Maddy with their eyes.

Maddy is jogging through the cemetery.A strange old woman comes closer with a friendly smile. She is the same old lady that he saw in her room. Her long white hair covers her strong shoulders. It’s obvious that she was a beautiful lady when she was young.A strange necklace with an interesting sign gives a special beauty on her appearance.

Maddy

Hi , do I know you?!

Zelda

"Blessings are for every one to have ! "

Maddy

"Have I seen you before ?!Are you talking to me?! "

Zelda

"It’s meant to be like this( smiles )

But you have to prove it first that you are worthy … "

Maddy

" I don’t understand (  confused ) what are you talking about ?! "

Zelda

" I have been waiting for you for such a long time,young lady!"

Maddy

"It looks like you can read people ‘s mind! Are you psychic? "

Zelda

(The old lady moves her head as she admires Madeleine ) You care for people,don't you?( She takes out her necklace and puts it around Madeleine’s neck. )come with me.

They disappear when Maddy feels the necklace on here neck.

INT.cave.day

She finds herself in a cave. She looks at the perches, hanging on the wall. There are different talismans and dried plants hanging from the ceiling.In the center of the cave we a  quadrangle table. There are plenty dried flowers spread on the table along with incenses and a few empty glasses.

Zelda

"Here we are Would you like something to drink?"

Maddy

(still confused)

"A cope of tea, please!"

Zelda

( goes to make some tea)

"How have you been?"

Maddy

"I finished school and do some paintings these days....nothing much is happening. excuse me you talk to me like you know me or something!!!!"

Zelda

"Has God been opening your heart to what you

need to be happy with in your life?

 If you believe that God will give

 you your deepest desire, then be

patient and your life will become

filled with love and passion.

It’s amazing the power from above ...(gives her a cope pf tea)"

Maddy

"Thanks.I cannot explain some of

my life’s trials, but for the ones that

 I do understand,I ‘v conquered them and

"First you must bring me, Vidar's shoe.

You must make a trip to Egypt.

 At the airport in Cairo a couple

will come and guide you and help

 you to do your mission.

 IF you fail to do so,you will lose your life."

"Maddy feels  dizzy, she finds herself in

the cemetery.The bottle is in her

hand and a round trip ticket to

 Egypt with a check. Insert of

Maddy is finished her daily jogging. She looks at her house and gets in the house.

Maddy comes in and runs to the stairs to her bedroom.

Maddy changes her clothes and run toward the bathroom to take a shower. She puts the objects that the old lady gave her, on the bed.

Maddy is packing her clothes and necessary things for her trip.She looks at the window. It is snowy outside. She goes closer to the window and sees houses that are decorated with Christmas lights and Santa clause's statue  When she goes back to pack her stuff, a strange sign on the mirror drives her attention. It seems like someone drew it.She wonders who could be doing it? Nobody is there. The cleaning lady did not come today either!She goes toward the calendar to see if cleaning lady was scheduled to come there to day, but she was off.

She goes back and continue packing.

Maddy stares at ceiling and cannot sleep. She is excited about going to the trip.

INT.AIRPORT.DAY

Maddy passes through different gates in the airport. Some people are getting ready to travel to various countries, some solders and students are happy for going back home and celebrating Christmas with their family and relatives. They are talking and laughing aloud.
Maddy sits beside a soldier who is asleep.The other side, there are some soldiers  flirting with two sexy looking girls.Maddy looks at her watch,then goes towards the  flight schedule. It’s already delayed 30 minutes which is common at Christmas time.A young guy stares at Maddy for a long time. He smiles at her, she smiles back and  goes towards her gate.

Maddy goes to the aircraft. and finds her sit.It is a crowded aircraft.

The aircraft flies in the vast sky.some people look at outside.

EXT.CAIRO AIRPORT.DAY

The airplane arrives at the Cairo airport. Some guys speak loud Arabic language. The passengers get off  the airplane. It is very warm day.Maddy goes towards the baggage department to get her baggage while looking for a couple who supposed to come and get her at the airport.
On the way EVA, 32's, accompanying  a tall handsome guy, ,Ali, 33's runs towards Maddy. They both look at Maddy's picture and recognize her.

ADA

"Excuse me, are you Madeleine?"

Maddy

"Yes."

ADA

"My name is Ada and this is my husband Ali. Nice to meet you.

We got a message to pick you up."

Maddy

"Nice to meet you too.Zelda told me about meeting you."

ADA

"you must be tired. we have reserved a

nice hotel where you can rest and fresh up a little."

Maddy

"Thanks, sounds wonderful."

They go to the baggage department. Maddy picks up her baggage.

Maddy,Eva and Ali go toward the parking lot. Ali opens the car's door which is  a brand new  Mercedes Benz  and they  get in the car.

EXT.Cairo.day

Maddy is sitting in the car and looks at street,people in Cairo.An amazing city full of life and movement, with the noisy honking of horns, children playing in the streets and merchants selling their wears and services.

INT.car.day

It is a warm day. Maddy cannot wait to get to the hotel so she can take a shower and change her cloths. She  looks at the streets while Eva ’s husband ‘s driving. Ali breaks the silence.

Ali

"Have you been here ,before ? "

Maddy

"No this is my first time .Can you tell me about Cairo?"

Ali

" well,Cairo spreads across the coast of Nile in the south and is separated by two rivers: Rosetta and Damietta where present and pass meet each other. In the east side you see 2000 years old Muslim ,Christian and Jewish culture and in the west side, You see Memphis (Giza),the capital of the old empire, Pyramids one of  the seven wonders of the world… "

Ada

"As a matter of fact, when you are in Cairo, you feel like you are in a time machine.A travel through the history and the eternal civilization .My husband has a wide information about everything which could be helpful for you ,Madeleine!"

Maddy

"Please call me Maddy!So Zelda told you that I’d come? "

Ada

"Yes, she has friends everywhere.She is a good friend of us. That makes you our friend too. She asked us to help you. "

Ali

"Here we are."

He stops the car.

They arrive at a 5 star hotel.They get off the car and go toward the hotel with a traditional Egyptian design .

INT.hotel.day

They enter and Maddy looks at the walls.Ali speaks Arabic with the receptionist and gets the keys while Madeleine files out the hotels application form . The piccolo takes their baggage and invites them politely to their room .

INT.HOTELS ROOM.DAY

The piccolo opens Maddy’s room and puts her baggage inside. She pays him a tip and he goes out. For a moment she observes the room.It’s a beautiful,well designed suite .She goes towards the window and sees the beauty of Egypt. She has a good view to all over the city and the Nile river.Maddy goes to the bathroom to fresh up, changes her cloths.

INT.restaurant.day

They are at the restaurant and having their meals and talking to each other.Maddy feels uncomfortable in her stomach, takes out some tablets and swallow them.

ALI

"I went to Norway 10 years ago. I was senior student of the Cairo university and  had to finish my research in ancient Scandinavian  culture at the university in Oslo where I met my Ada .She had the same project and during my stay in Norway, I fall in love with her and a few months later we got married. "

MADDY

"Wonderful!"

ADA

"We love each other and are very happy."

Maddy

"Oh my God! This food is delicious!"

ALI

"Egyptian cuisine is one of the best!"

ADA

"About tomorrow. You should wake up early in the

morning since we have a few hours trip to the pyramids.

They notice a musician playing an instrument."

Maddy looks at the window and stares at the sky full of dazzling stars. she goes and lays on the bed and stares at the Egyptian design on the ceiling. Suddenly,she feels some sort of energy around her. It is a shadow of a man.She feels like some one is looking at her.She tuns and sees no body.
She ‘s exhausted after a long trip and falls asleep right away . The shadow goes away.

INT.CAR.DAY

They are in the car and Ali is driving.

Ada with her beautiful kind smile gives a friendly expression to Maddy. Maddy feels like they know each other for such a long time.

Ada

"Did you sleep well last night ? "

Maddy

"Like a baby. "

Ada

"Good! Today we are going to Giza ,the ruined old Memphis and some places of Cairo. "

Maddy

"Great! I Read some stuff about Egypt at school,but could you tell me more about the pyramids?"

Ali

"Sure ! An Arabic proverb says" the Man is afraid of time and time is frightened by the Pyramids." The great pyramids which are build during 20 long years. First they put the blocks to gather and transport or carry each one toward the place where they ‘re built.No body knows how they placed them which is a mystery.Some people say that they used the ramps to carry the blocks but it’s just a theory .These pyramids have been witness of many events which has happened and sure these walls have many history to talk about. They were Joseph's neighbors, Faro’s  mountain. when Napoleon invaded  Egypt in 1798, he proudly stood there,looked at his soldiers and said:
”Solders! From the top of  these Pyramids, 4000 years looks at us" To day , these are the tourist attraction and Giza where you can find many museums and the mysterious sun boat which ‘s founded in 1954 in a area close to south side of the Pyramids.
It’s said that the boat was used for carrying  faro(Khufu) before his body was graved in the Pyramid. An only boat by which a person could pass through the dead river according to the Egyptian belief. "

"Egypt is a mysterious land!"

Madeleine takes a look at a piece of paper that Zelda gave her before the trip.

Maddy

"Find the vidar's shoe!"

ADA

"Zelda asked you to find it?"

Maddy

"How am i supposed to find Vidar's shoe in Egypt?!"

They arrive to the pyramid area.

They are walking towards one of the pyramids.

I still don't understand why in here.

ADA

"Let me see it.. I have studied mythology in college.Let’s see this is an old language says find the Vidar’s shoe. Vidar was a coordinator of this physical world with his wife,daughter of Norn. According to the Viking’s myth, we don’t have any power over the physical world.We have no power due to change the things which happen to us. Vidar is a silent God who serves the others gods.He fought and kicked  the butt of Ragnarok, the wild god  with his mysterious shoes..He was very powerful and strong god. "

Ali

"Let me look at the paper again.
There is  a sign in the paper. If we compares with a sign on the wall of one of those pyramids... "

Ali finds a guy and talks in Arabic. They go toward one of the pyramids.Ali talks with another guide near to the tomb.They all enter the tomb.

They enter inside the tomb.The guide whispers kind of prayer while entering.Maddy with her eyes wide open looks at the signs and touches the humid walls.There are several  corridors on their way.
On the way towards one of the corridors, Ali stops and looks at the different signs on the wall. He touches one of the walls.It opens slowly and many corridors appear in from of their eyes.

ADA

"It’s time to read that spell which we took,Ali. "

Ali

(Whispers a prayer)

"Look, there is something in here."

Maddy

"what is it?"

Ali

"A big...spider...run..."

A big spider appears and they all runaway including the guides. They find a place and sit there. It is another long corridor. They guides are gone. Maddy feels pain in her stomach. Ada starts to telling a story while they are resting.

Maddy

"hey look...i found something!"

ALI

"This is it!"

Maddy

"what?"

ALI

"The vidar's shoe!"

Maddy

"It is a coin?!"

ALI

"congratulations Maddy! You made it!"

A mysterious palace where is endlessly cold and dark.We see a man, 30's, has a crown on his head and is sitting on the throne with Viking design. This man is Hell,one of the Loke's sons. He is surrounded by his best vikings who look unhappy but we see fear of the king in their eyes.

A man comes to him, and respectfully tells him of the lands faraway.A close shot of Hell that smiles and send some men out. His warriors respectfully leave the scene.

We hear Ada's voice.

ADA

“ In the north , was a palace called Niflheim 

 where is endlessly cold and dark where

 the hell’s gods govern. Hell was one of Loke’s sons.

The Vikings knew that” the polar cycle “ is located

a long way up to the North where is cold and freezing

and the sun never shines in winter.They hated

the cold and knew that in the south of Muspelheim,

there is a land of light and warmth.

The land of son of Myspel,the great fire fighter."

Hell's warriors are sailing on a Viking ship.One of them takes out his jacket and looks at the sky. He feels the warmth of the Sun and smiles. The other Vikings take off their jackets made by goat's skin and letter.

We hear Ada's voice

The Vikings traveled from the North of pole down to the

 south where’s getting warmer and warmer.

They had heard the stories about the  hot deserts in

Africa and Arabia where’s impossible to live because of hot weather.
They believed in Vidar the powerful God who could

live everywhere and is a guide to make a better

 life and blessings. That’ why they graved his

shoes on a coin which was used during that time . "

Madeleine finds herself in a strange room. It is dark. A danish old woman is sitting in the center of the room. She looks at a crystal ball. like where looks like a dream .
The old lady with her crystal ball.She invites Maddy to sit and puts her hand on the ball.

It appears  some smoke inside the ball. We see a tree that appears in the smoke.

"He believed that was important to become

 wise so he gave one of his eyes to the spring

 as a gift in exchange of drinking some of

 it’s mystic precious water. That’s why

he could drink it! That’s why he is the

wisest god among the other gods! "

Maddy

"why are you telling me?!"

oldwoman

"I want you to drink it and bring some

for me.Here ...take this necklace for protection . "

           (she gives her a necklace)

Maddy

"How can I find the way?"

Oldwoman

"Look at the necklace!"

(It comes out of necklace some smoke. Old woman shows her a door and invites her to enter)

"Now go,the necklace will protect you."

Maddy goes inside the door.

Long shot of a land.It appears a beautiful land  surrounded by wild yellow ,daisy and  violet  flowers,rivers runs toward the steps and green land , the mountains,the birds sing songs, the sky is crystal blue It looks like a heavenly paradise!

The necklace shows the way by it’s light. Maddy is amazed by the beautiful nature and the land. she wants to go up a tree in the middle. Suddenly a strong hand takes her arm and lifts her up.
Maddy i surprised.

Suddenly a dragon appears in front of Maddy’s surprised and fearful eyes. The man fights with the dragon. After a moment lots of blood comes out of the month of the dragon.

Odin

" Hurry ,there is no time left.

They run towards the tree of life."

Maddy

"Is that the tree of life? "

Odin

"Yes!we have to get there before getting to late. "

Maddy

"why are we in hurry? You have already killed the dragon! "

Odin

"This dragon never dies. "

Maddy

"who are you?"

Odin

"Odin. "

Maddy

"The great Odin?! No kidding!"

Odin

"If you want to drink water.Now it's time. "

Maddy gets closer to the tree of life and carefully looks at her both sides to make sure that everything is alright,then she bends and  drinks some water and takes some with herself in a bottle.
The same dragon comes closer to her,but a flying axes cuts the dragon into half. Maddy scared pulls herself back. The axes flies back toward  the hand of a young ,strong blond hair. He has a  crown on his head.

Maddy

All of sudden she finds herself in the ancient Persia.A driver drives a carriage and stops. The driver gets off and kneels down.He speaks Pahlavi (the old Persian  language ).

Maddy watches the road. The wind caresses her long hair. The atmosphere is filed with the sent of wild flowers and orange trees.

They get closer to a big crowded market. People are buying goods and sellers sell their products to their customers and children play around. 

They go toward the palace.

EXT.persepolis palace.day

There are tow guards who stand at the gate. The guards  knell down  in  front of Maddy.

"Welcome to persepolis, My lady!"

Maddy

"I thought Persepolis was burnt by Alexander the great in  331 BC! "

SOLDIER

"Yes but the great king Xerxes gave them a good lesson, my lady.  Please enter in, my lady!"

They go inside the palace.

The driver stops and Maddy walks slowly in a big hall.

The magnificent palace is surrounded by a beautiful  garden with trees and flowers. Everything is made by gold.The sign of two lions holding a crown is seen on everywhere. A middle aged woman approaches her with her two maids. She has dark brown long hair and wears a long white dress made by silk. She wears a crown with the same sign of lions. A tick arm band, made by gold and diamonds pleases one's eyes. She wears a beautiful necklace made by diamond, sapphire and rubies.

Soldier

"This is the queen of Persia,Manddana."

MANDDANA

(opens her arms towards Maddy)

"Ahurmazda, The God of goodness!I cannot believe my eyes!"

( her maids stand aside with respect)

She runs towards Maddy and embraces her. One of her maids, 25's, stands behind the queen.

Manddana

"My child, my beautiful child. (she cries)

Do you know how much I prayed to Ahurmazda

 for not letting you to pass the river of death?

Praise the Ahurmazda for hearing me and sending you back to me,my dearest child ! Let me see you. "
(She holds Maddy's arms and looks at her )

"I am sorry ...but...who am I? "

"My child remembers nothing!"

"It is a natural matter since the princess did not feel...well, my queen!"

 "You are the princess,my daughter ,the future of Persia! I have been fasting 3 days and nights and praying to The Ahurmazda for sending you back to me! Come with me, Atessa."

Maddy

"my name is Atessa!"

She takes Madeleine’s hand and they go to another big room.

The boll of fire is seen in the center. We pan the entire temple. There are the sign of lions are everywhere and the incenses and burnt offerings are seen beside the fire. 

There is a giant  standing statue that is kindly looking down behind the boll of fire.

"Yes my queen."

( she goes out)

Manddana

"He should see the miracle!Atessa!"

"I feel a bit better today."

There is a coffin made by gold near to the statue.

"why is there an empty coffin?!"

"We must surprise the king! We will have a

fest in the evening and must celebrate this event!"

The servants and slaves design the palace with flowers, colored cloths and  incenses.

There is a big swimming pool covered with rose petals in the middle. The maids and servants are preparing the bath for Maddy. She is half naked and is waiting for warming up the water. There is another pool of milk. A servant invites her to go inside the pool of milk. She slowly puts her feet and gives her towel to another maid and slowly sits inside the pool of milk. Two maids are laughing and washing her with milk. Then maids wash Maddy with water.

A big room with flowers everywhere. Two maids are helping Maddy to put the royal dress on.

She wears a beautiful long golden dress. Her white shoulders and breasts are shown and designed with royal jeweleries. A maid wants to take off Maddy's necklace but Maddy does not let her. The maid with respect put her armband with the royal design.

Two maid holds a mirror in front of Maddy. She looked fantastic.

The queen comes in to the room.

"Oh,Look at you! You are dazzling!

The banquet is arranged! Everybody

 will be there,Your father still don’t know.

He will be surprised. I always wanted to

 surprise him. Let’s get ready.
The sun hides behind the mountain

 and the starts coming out.It’s a full moon.

The sky is lighter and every where

 is decorated with lights, you see. "

The queen (Manddana )and Madeleine (Atessa) leave the room.

INT.the banquet.night

The gardens are designed by the white linen and purple materials. There are silver rings on the marble pillars and golden couches standing  on a mosaic pavement of porphyry, marble, mother-of pearl and the other costly stones.Wine is served in goblets of gold, each one different from the other, and the royal wine is  abundant, in keeping with the queen’s liberality. By her command each guest is allowed to drink in their own way. The queen, Manddana  instructed all the wine stewardess to serve each man what he wishes.

The great king Darius, enters in the hall and goes toward his thrown and sits there.Silence. His  ministers and consolers bending and showing him a great respect. The king is curious about the occasion but does not show on his face. He is tall and strong, his black hair gave a handsome look on his fair skin. He is a handsome, middle aged man. The king of kings is 45 years old. His strong arms tell us stories about wars in the far east, Africa and Greece. He notices every single details around him.  His minister and generals are pleased to see him. Silence. The king waves a little and four  slaves bring in a small box. Silence.Music. We pan the banquet to see who are in the banquet. The foreign generals and royal family are sitting in both sides of the palace.

We have a close shot of a box. Insert of a par of arms dancing slowly out of the box and we see a half naked dancer, moving her body out of the box. The king is watching her and the queen is watching the king to see if he is pleased with the dancing.

The king looks slowly at his beloved wife. A woman that he has loved in his life, the one. The king shows his hand and take her hand. The queen is dazzling in her white, sexy dress.

 "What is in king’s  mind? "

"That how much  the king adore the queen of Persia!"

MANDDANA

"Oh my love! I am flattered by such romantic flame!"

There are six maids in the bathing hall. Two of them are giving Farnoosh a bath. A maid comes to her and dry her young, fair body. Another maid put perfumes on her clothes which is a beautiful blue color silk dress. The other one comb her long black hair.

It is a beautiful royal bedroom.We pan the royal objects in the room, the curtains and fruits on a round table with a bottle of win.

We see her standing on here long blue gown in the middle of the royal bedroom. The young king in his 19's enters the room. Farnoosh looks at the ground. The young Darius comes closer, lift her chin up. He smiles by seeing a pair of big scared eyes that slowly looks up at him. She wants to kneel down but young Darius does not let her."

King Darius  is coming back from hunting deer with his

Darius and Farnoosh are having dinner. Farnoosh takes his hand and Darius slowly takes off his hand. We see Farnoosh's sad face.

Meheregan festival. The king, his queen and Maddy are sitting on their thrones. Silence. Three priests and the great priest are approaching a porch. The great priest holding a little porch in his hand.Silence.

Darius nods his head. The priest put a fire on the big porch. the great priest bend toward Darius.

"Happy Mehregan!Happy autumn."

  Dancers come in the center and dance around the big porch. The other dancers are dancing in the middle symbolically demonstrating a harvest. Some male dancers supporting symbolically their harvest. People are happy and drinking win.

Darius is drinking and conversing with the queen. Maddy is amazed by seeing the whole festival.

People gather around the big porch, hand in hand, shape a circle. They round around.

The guardian calls Franoosh’s name for informing Darius of her coming. A few minutes later she and her two maids come in with her shinning, long dress and gifts in her maids hands.
Farnoosh kneels down in front of the king. Her sad eyes look down. King is surprised by seeing her.

"Long live the king of kings, Darius! "

DARIUS

"Blessed be, Farnoosh the lady of long lands."

(Manndana seems worried)

FARNOOSH

"My Atessa live long. I brought some gifts for her as i heard that she feels well, my lord!I ask for permission to give the gifts."

Darius nods and Farnoosh let her maids give gifts in the boxes to Maddy. A maid brings the gifts to Maddy. She looks at them and nods her head as a sign of thankfulness.

People are dancing. The king is drinking and kissing Manddana's hand.Farnoosh sadly looks at them.

Maddy with her maids are walking in  garden toward the palace. She sees Farnoosh and her maids.

"It was wonderful! How about you,Farnoosh?"

FARNOOSH

"Fine.I have something for you.

( gives an exotic fruit) Taste this fruit.

This fruit has a magical power.It’s said

that whoever eat this during the full moon,

Farnoosh leaves the scene and Maddy approaches  a hall near the garden. She  meets a man, 25's tall and good looking.This man is Alexander.

Priests are standing by the queen and king Darius. A coffin is in the center ,covered by flowers. Maddy is laying in the coffin.

Six soldiers bring in Farnoosh. She is handcuffed.

"Why did you do such vicious act?"

She sticks the dagger in Farnoosh's stomach.

Farnoosh falls down.

She dies in front of their eyes. Darius embraces Manddana."

Maddy is laying on bed in a room at the hospital. She opens her eyes. She is surrounded by doctor Berton  and three nurses.

"At the hospital. Do you still have pain in your stomach?"

Maddy

"Yes, but not much.How long have i been in here?"

DOCTOR BERTON

"A month. We were worried about you. "

DOCTOR BERTON

"The cleaning lady found you on the flour and took you in here."

Maddy

"I think it is best for you to stay at the hospital."

Maddy is walking. It is raining. Maddy is in her deep thoughts.

It’s a quiet night. An old couple hand in hand are going across the street and enjoying their walk. some meters farther there is a lady walks her dog. Some Young boys and girls are laughing and talking aloud on the way to the club.

Four guys are drinking and smashing the window of a restaurant. The owner of the small restaurant tries to disperse them but they won't do.. One of them takes a big stone and throws to the restaurant's big,expensive window.They four guys run away when they see he is calling the police.

The restaurant's owner yell at them.

"what have i done to you? why can't you leave me alone?why? why?This is the 3rd time that you are breaking my window. "

Maddy slowly passes by him.

We hear The sound of wild dogs from afar. It begins to
snow .
A little farther  There is a fight outside of a pub. There are six guys who are beating up a slim man in his 40s. He tries to protect his eyes. one of them takes his hand and the other one kicks his face. After a minute his face becomes full of blood  Another one  takes his hand and screws in the opposite side. The poor guy shots of pain.

THE MAN

"I just wanted to use the bathroom".

I even don’t drink  alcohol! I wish I never used the bathroom in here!"

They are beating up him crazily and nobody comes to help the man. Maddy  hides herself behind a wall and looks at this event.

The man falls down and is unconscious. The street gangs disperse. A few minutes later an ambulance come with a police car.

A stranger follows Maddy. She walks faster.

Maddy walks faster suddenly the stranger appears.

He  puts a knife on her throat and try to rap Maddy.

Some wild dogs run toward the stranger. This gives an opportunity to Maddy to run away. The dogs bit  different parts of his body. Maddy runs while looking back. She hears the stranger screaming and asking for help. Silence. Maddy is scared and dare not to look at the dogs. They come closer to Maddy. Maddy stops. The dogs slowly make a circle round around Maddy. One of the dogs comes closer to Maddy.

Maddy is very scared. The dog comes closer and starts to lick Maddy's hand. When Maddy opens her eyes, she recognizes the dog.

MADDY

"It is YOU....awww thank you for saving my life."

Dog looks at Maddy and runs with the other dogs leaving Maddy with a feeling of thankfulness.

Maddy is meditating. The rood is filed with smoke of incense.The stone stands in the middle of the room and starts shaking. A voice comes out of the stone.

It’s a beautiful Chinese mansion  which belongs to one of the generals in Chu dynasty. Lady Sun, 27's,  is sitting in a pergola near by the mansion. She wear a blue silk dress with red flowers.A maid is sitting beside her and  reading a beautiful poem.A musician maid, 15 years old is playing a Chinese instrument. There is a pool beside the pergola covered with lotus flowers and a bridge up the pool is a connection between two sides of the pool.Lady Sun is drinking Jasmine tea and listens to the poetry and music.
The atmosphere is filed with birds songs ,dragonflies and the melody of the Chinese instrument.Maddy notices them through bamboo tree near b. She is in a beautiful pink Chinese silk dress and her hair is carefully designed with flowers. Maddy is completely overwhelmed to find herself in ancient China !

Lie Bei's troop are waiting for Liu Bei's return from the mountain. It's a cold day and win blows through the troop's falgs. Shang Fei, 40's old impatiently is waiting.He is a fat but strong man and plays with his tick round beard. Guang Yu, 42 's, long beard until his stomach and his wide shoulders are covered by his long straight hair. Guang Yu notices Shang Fei's impatience and hot temper attitude but calmly looks around.

Long shot of Liu Bei that is climbing the  mountain. we see his hands reaches the top. He lefts his whole body up. He stands up and is  breathing fast. He find himself in front of a castle's gate.

A white eagle is flying above the sky mysteriously.The eagle goes inside the castle and after a few minutes,the gate opens and  a mysterious man, 60's,man comes out.
Liu Bei  is about to introduce himself but the old man invites him in politely.

The hall is designed with images of battle fields.Liu Bei is amazed by observing the images.

In the center of the hall a sitting man,50's, modestly awaiting Liu Bei.Liu Bei notices him and shows bends over.

(claps and the old man shows up) Bring us some food!( the  old man nods respectfully and goes out)

MUSIC. They continue their conversation.The old servant enters with a big plate of food. White dragon invites him to eat.

It is a great banquet . Liu Bei with  his wife,his generals and their wives,his divisions officers,  Maddy and white dragon are there enjoying their meals. Everywhere is decorated with red, yellow,blue and white colors. Musicians are playing  an old Chinese music and some actors are performing the Chinese opera. for them.Guests are having their meals and drinking rice spirit.  round tables are every where and every body are sitting on Maddy enjoys drinking her jasmine tea.
During the diner some dancers come in and begins to perform the sword dance.The dancers body is as flexible as a piece of robber and they use the sword fighting techniques as well.
  They eat and drink all night and during this time the white dragon looks at Maddy  once awhile in a mysterious way. Madeleine is having her great time and preparing to leave the banquet with a maid.

Maddy is walking in the garden. She is looking at the beautiful flowers and enjoys their scent.She looks at a bird that she never had seen in her entire life. White dragon comes out if the banquet and notices the bird.

Liu Bei and his troop are marching the road.

The army of Cao Cao rid every where and are burning the houses and the crops. They have no mercy on no one. children. War is showing it’s ugly face .The atmosphere is full of hollers of women and children who are running for their lives.

INT.Liu Bei's camp.day

Liu Bei, White Dragon and his generals are making a plan.

EXT.Eastern camp.day

Maddy, Lady Sun and her maids are drinking tea near to the camp.

INT.camp.night

Soldiers are asleep. Liu Bei and white dragon are still planning for the great war in their tent.

A messenger brings a bad news that the division of the enemy who came from the land of the Sun has already took over the palace and killed the king! This terrible news made Liu Bei very sad and angry.

EXT.EASTERN CAMP.DAY

Maddy along with a maid go to bring some water. A soldier who belong to Cao Cao is observing them behind the bushes.

Maddy and the maid leaves the scene. Inside the tent Lady Sun with her maid and her 6 months old baby having their meals.

EXT. river.day

Maddy feels pain in her stomach. After a long walk she finds a river and pours in water in the vases then sits there for awhile to rest. All of sudden some body put her bloody hand on Maddy's shoulder, scared turns back .It is one of the maids with lady Sun's baby in her arms.
Maddy take her by shoulder.

Maddy

What happened?

MAID

 The attacked us …(coughs ) they have been following us … one of us is a betrayer …

Maddy

"Who?!"

MAID

"Two of them wanted to rap her.

 Lady Sun gave me the baby and

throw herself in a dried well and

They tried to get her …but …but it  …was …too late ..i run

with the baby.They shot me with  an arrow but i was able to runaway. "

 She dies in Maddy's arm. Maddy takes the crying baby and runaway. She runs for an hour then sits somewhere to rest . Close up the child is constantly crying and she does not know how to make him quiet . All of a sudden she become surrounded by four of Cao Cao ‘s men ....

EXT.Namsos.Norway.day

Long Shot, Namsos, a town located in central Norway.The small Norwegian houses are decorated with Christmas decorations.Everywhere is covered by snow and gave a mystical beauty to this town, where is surrounded by mountains and fjords.

MUSIC. The opening credits roll over a series of shots of  people. We pan the houses and find a particular house where our story begins. It is a big mystical white color house surrounded by pin trees. We see the windows and stop on a window. A close up the window. We get closer to the window and see a girl.

                                          DISSOLVE TO:

INT.room. day

The girl's name is Madeleine. We call her Maddy, 18 years old,  is sitting by her computer and writing her diary.Her room is decorated nicely with her dolls, paintings and books on the bookshelf.

We hear  the  news on TV from the living room. She feels pain in her stomach and goes towards the kitchen, picks up the box of medicine and  takes out a couple of tablets. She  swallows them and drinks a glass of water. The pain gets worth. She picks up the phone and dials a number.

                                             DISSOLVE TO:

INT.DOCTOR's office.day

Doctor Jacob Berton, 58 years old, looks at Maddy kindly. Worry lines crease his forehead and the gray at his temples attest to years of medical practice and sleepless nights.They are in the middle of a conversation.

 
Maddy:

I feel severe pain in my stomach.

I have been Feeling full or bloated

after a small meal and the nausea, vomiting

are killing me!

Dr. Berton

" You might not like this and i want to be honest with you

 ...after viewing the x-ray and biopsy result,

 i am afraid to tell you that you have stomach

cancer!

The cancer has gone too far and

 you don't have much time to live!So we can help you to ease the pain.."

Maddy

"Are there any treatments for me?"

Maddy's eyes are filed of tears. A drop of tear monists her lips.

Dr. Berton

"There are ways for instance:Local therapy.

We use surgery and radiation therapy which 

are local therapies. They remove or destroy

 cancer in or near the stomach.

When stomach cancer has spread to

 other parts of the body, local therapy

may be used to control the disease in

those specific areas. There is also another

way which is Chemotherapy.

The drug enters the bloodstream and

destroys or controls cancer throughout the body!"

Maddy (devastated)

"Is there any hope?"

Dr. Berton

I know living with stomach cancer

is not easy, but we do all our best.

We can schedule the treatment

 as soon as possible.I can't promise anything,

 but trying and do something about it is better

 than not do anything at all!"

Maddy(angry)" Right!"

Dr. Berton:"I am sorry, child! I had to be honest with you. "

Maddy: "Yeah whatever..."

Dr. Berton    ( nods)" I strongly suggest you to start the chemotherapy..."

Maddy :"What about my pain?"

Dr. Berton:( writing a prescription)  "These pills will ease the pain.Maddy,

 you know that your mother was my patient.I do all my best to help you survive this cancer."

Doctor Berton hands over the prescription to Maddy.

She sadly takes it  looks at them and goes out of the office. The New age store drives her attention.

INT. New Age store.day

It is a store full of magical potions, stones,strange string of garlics, clothes that can be rented during Halloween etc. Maddy does not look at any of those strange objects around. It seems like she is a regular customer. she takes some quarts and still is looking for something.

Old Danish lady is the stores manager. She gets closer to her.

Old Danish lady

"Are you looking for something,Maddy?"

Maddy:"I don't know just looking..."

Old Danish lady:Come with me.

(she goes towards an old shelf and takes out a green mojo bag)

Ok. take this, but do not open it now.Did you have a doctor appointment today?

Maddy: "How do you know that?!"

Old danish lady: "It's a small town. News fly fast,child."

Maddy: "But i just came out of Doctor's office!"

Old Danish lady

(put her figure on her lips)

"There is always hope. I know what you were going to say, my child!"

Maddy

"How much should i pay for the mojo bag?"

Old Danish lady

"It's on the house. Now go home."

Maddy

"Thanks."

(Maddy goes out while the old danish women follows her with  her worried eyes.)

EXT. outside the New Age store.day

She goes inside the pharmacy that is located near by the witchcraft store to buy her medicine.

We pan the entire street and  people.

EXT.pharmacy.day

Maddy comes out of the pharmacy. She notices some of her old classmates who say hello to her. She sadly looks down and passes by without answering them.

Ext.wood.day

Maddy is running. On the way she see a dog laying. One of his feet is trapped in an old hunting trap. Maddy comes closer and set free the dog. She takes out a piece of cloth and tries to clean up the blood. She caresses the dog and takes out a piece of salami from her bag pack and gives it to the dog.The dog eats it.

INT. maddy's home.day

She opens the door and enters into her expensive, nice designed and old house. On the wall there are series of old  pictures of her parents, grandparents and grand grand parents until the oldest generations. The antiques around the house tell stories of a family with ancient roots into the past. She goes to the kitchen, opens the refrigerator,grabs an apple, takes a bit ,goes to the living room ,takes the remote control and changes to the music channel.
After listening to the music for awhile, she goes toward the other room.

INT.the magic room.day

She comes in the room full of various potions, candles and an alter. She takes some candles,two rose- quarts stones and  a little bag which she bought from the old danish lady.

She puts all to gather on the alter and starts meditating.
 She takes out of a  little mojo bag a piece of paper.There is a strange  script drives her attention, a mysterious sentence that she could not understand.

Maddy

            (with closed eyes)

“kbala la la kba !”

 She tries to visualize the pain is gone forever and takes out of the bag a stone with some strange carved symbols  on it.
she puts it on the alter beside the other items and closes her eyes again.

Maddy

“kbala la la kba !”

The stone starts to move around. She opens her eyes and become so surprised. The lights of the house goes out and she feels nervous and scared. She tries to put the light on the candle but it blows away. Suddenly the telephone rings .She takes  the receiver while is trembling.

someone

(with heavy breathing on the other side of the phone)

  Haaaaaa.....

Maddy

 "Hello …hello ?! "

Someone

“kbala la la kba !”

Suddenly A strong wind opens the windows.It’s very dark inside the house. The wind dances through her long , blond , shinny hair and her scared dark eyes are full of tears. She closes the windows, looks through the curtains and repeats the sentence:

Maddy

“kbala la la kba ?!”

Silence. She goes toward the telephone and hears nothing. When she comes back to the magic room, screams of surprise! A tall, old lady with a long white hair hovering  between the ground and ceiling while staring at her. She takes the stone and a minute later the old lady is gone.

All night she thinks about what had happened . she sits by the table and stares at the strange stone

EXT.STREET.NIGHT

We pan the entire street. It is snowing. It seems like everybody falls asleep. silence. We see Maddy,standing by the window and looking at the street.The snow is glimmering like the stars on top of the roofs. It seems like some body throws silver on houses. Everywhere is white,clean and beautiful.

INT.bedroom.night

Maddy comes in to her bedroom, lays on the bed and close  her eyes. After a few minutes she falls asleep. Her long eye lashes moves.

Her bedroom’s window is opened. A cold breeze caresses her hair.she moves her head around, feels cold and takes  the blanket over her body. She blinks.  For a second,sees a handsome,good looking man,27's, is looking at her.There is a crown on his head. He has a strong body and there is a thick old armband on his arm. Maddy opens widely her eyes and sits on her bed.The guy is gone.
She goes toward the window and close it.

EXT.TOWN.DAY

It is not a very cold day. People are getting ready for Christmas shopping. The town is crowded, heavy traffic,people running around, buying the  Christmas gifts, groceries and some young guys are skating across the streets. We see the Christmas decorations everywhere.

Maddy is jogging and looking at the Christmas decorations.

INT.store.day

Three girls are conversing and carrying their bags with Christmas gifts. One of them notices Maddy while she is jogging in the street.Jane, 18's blond hair and eyes points at Maddy.

Jane

"Look! The weirdo is jogging!"

Nicole

"Yeah. Since her parents died in the car crash. She stopped her contacts with her friends."

Jane

"She thinks she 's rich."

Maria

"How's that?"

Jane

"After her parents died, they left her lot of money. She does not need to work for her entire life!"

Nicole

"Are you jealous?"

Jane

"Shot up! No i am not..."

Nicole

"yes you are..."

(They all laugh)

Jane

"Anyway! They say she sits at home and paint weird things like vampires, dark stuff..."

Nicole

"weird! hah!"

They follow Maddy with their eyes.

EXT.cemetery.day

Maddy is jogging through the cemetery.A strange old woman comes closer with a friendly smile. She is the same old lady that he saw in her room. Her long white hair covers her strong shoulders. It’s obvious that she was a beautiful lady when she was young.A strange necklace with an interesting sign gives a special beauty on her appearance.

Maddy

Hi , do I know you?!

Zelda

"Blessings are for every one to have ! "

Maddy

"Have I seen you before ?!Are you talking to me?! "

Zelda

"It’s meant to be like this( smiles )

But you have to prove it first that you are worthy … "

Maddy

" I don’t understand (  confused ) what are you talking about ?! "

Zelda

" I have been waiting for you for such a long time,young lady!"

Maddy

"It looks like you can read people ‘s mind! Are you psychic? "

Zelda

(The old lady moves her head as she admires Madeleine ) You care for people,don't you?( She takes out her necklace and puts it around Madeleine’s neck. )come with me.

They disappear when Maddy feels the necklace on here neck.

INT.cave.day

She finds herself in a cave. She looks at the perches, hanging on the wall. There are different talismans and dried plants hanging from the ceiling.In the center of the cave we a  quadrangle table. There are plenty dried flowers spread on the table along with incenses and a few empty glasses.

Zelda

"Here we are Would you like something to drink?"

Maddy

(still confused)

"A cope of tea, please!"

Zelda

( goes to make some tea)

"How have you been?"

Maddy

"I finished school and do some paintings these days....nothing much is happening. excuse me you talk to me like you know me or something!!!!"

Zelda

"Has God been opening your heart to what you

need to be happy with in your life?

 If you believe that God will give

 you your deepest desire, then be

patient and your life will become

filled with love and passion.

It’s amazing the power from above ...(gives her a cope pf tea)"

Maddy

"Thanks.I cannot explain some of

my life’s trials, but for the ones that

 I do understand,I ‘v conquered them and

 totally changed my life around.

I am kind of girl that needs to give and

 receive love.But i see no love...

everyone hates me...probably

 i talk too much."

The old lady smiles at her and feels the loneliness through her eyes.She goes toward the table and takes a small bottle and gives it to Maddy along with a necklace with 5 different signs on it.

Maddy

"what is it?"

Zelda

"Would you like to be happy and taste the gifts of life?"

Maddy

"Everybody does...(suspicious)Why are you trying to help me?! "

Zelda

"Because i promised to your parents,child!"

Maddy

( Surprised ) My parents ?!

Zelda

"It’s a long story. Now let's talk about your

 mission.If you bring 6 things for me,

i can make a potion and heal you.

You will never be sick again and

 you will posses a very long,healthy life."

Maddy

"what mission?"

Zelda

"First you must bring me, Vidar's shoe.

You must make a trip to Egypt.

 At the airport in Cairo a couple

will come and guide you and help

 you to do your mission.

 IF you fail to do so,you will lose your life."

"Maddy feels  dizzy, she finds herself in

the cemetery.The bottle is in her

hand and a round trip ticket to

 Egypt with a check. Insert of

the tickets where stands the destination."

Maddy is finished her daily jogging. She looks at her house and gets in the house.

Maddy comes in and runs to the stairs to her bedroom.

Maddy changes her clothes and run toward the bathroom to take a shower. She puts the objects that the old lady gave her, on the bed.

Maddy is taking a shower.

Maddy is packing her clothes and necessary things for her trip.She looks at the window. It is snowy outside. She goes closer to the window and sees houses that are decorated with Christmas lights and Santa clause's statue  When she goes back to pack her stuff, a strange sign on the mirror drives her attention. It seems like someone drew it.She wonders who could be doing it? Nobody is there. The cleaning lady did not come today either!She goes toward the calendar to see if cleaning lady was scheduled to come there to day, but she was off.

She goes back and continue packing.

INT.bedroom.night

Maddy stares at ceiling and cannot sleep. She is excited about going to the trip.

INT.AIRPORT.DAY

Maddy passes through different gates in the airport. Some people are getting ready to travel to various countries, some solders and students are happy for going back home and celebrating Christmas with their family and relatives. They are talking and laughing aloud.
Maddy sits beside a soldier who is asleep.The other side, there are some soldiers  flirting with two sexy looking girls.Maddy looks at her watch,then goes towards the  flight schedule. It’s already delayed 30 minutes which is common at Christmas time.A young guy stares at Maddy for a long time. He smiles at her, she smiles back and  goes towards her gate.

INT. airport.day

Maddy goes to the aircraft. and finds her sit.It is a crowded aircraft.

EXT.sky.night

The aircraft flies in the vast sky.some people look at outside.

EXT.CAIRO AIRPORT.DAY

The airplane arrives at the Cairo airport. Some guys speak loud Arabic language. The passengers get off  the airplane. It is very warm day.Maddy goes towards the baggage department to get her baggage while looking for a couple who supposed to come and get her at the airport.
On the way EVA, 32's, accompanying  a tall handsome guy, ,Ali, 33's runs towards Maddy. They both look at Maddy's picture and recognize her.

ADA

"Excuse me, are you Madeleine?"

Maddy

"Yes."

ADA

"My name is Ada and this is my husband Ali. Nice to meet you.

We got a message to pick you up."

Maddy

"Nice to meet you too.Zelda told me about meeting you."

ADA

"you must be tired. we have reserved a

nice hotel where you can rest and fresh up a little."

Maddy

"Thanks, sounds wonderful."

They go to the baggage department. Maddy picks up her baggage.

EXT.parking lot.day

Maddy,Eva and Ali go toward the parking lot. Ali opens the car's door which is  a brand new  Mercedes Benz  and they  get in the car.

EXT.Cairo.day

Maddy is sitting in the car and looks at street,people in Cairo.An amazing city full of life and movement, with the noisy honking of horns, children playing in the streets and merchants selling their wears and services.

INT.car.day

It is a warm day. Maddy cannot wait to get to the hotel so she can take a shower and change her cloths. She  looks at the streets while Eva ’s husband ‘s driving. Ali breaks the silence.

Ali

"Have you been here ,before ? "

Maddy

"No this is my first time .Can you tell me about Cairo?"

Ali

" well,Cairo spreads across the coast of Nile in the south and is separated by two rivers: Rosetta and Damietta where present and pass meet each other. In the east side you see 2000 years old Muslim ,Christian and Jewish culture and in the west side, You see Memphis (Giza),the capital of the old empire, Pyramids one of  the seven wonders of the world… "

Ada

"As a matter of fact, when you are in Cairo, you feel like you are in a time machine.A travel through the history and the eternal civilization .My husband has a wide information about everything which could be helpful for you ,Madeleine!"

Maddy

"Please call me Maddy!So Zelda told you that I’d come? "

Ada

"Yes, she has friends everywhere.She is a good friend of us. That makes you our friend too. She asked us to help you. "

Ali

"Here we are."

He stops the car.

Ext. hotel.day

They arrive at a 5 star hotel.They get off the car and go toward the hotel with a traditional Egyptian design .

INT.hotel.day

They enter and Maddy looks at the walls.Ali speaks Arabic with the receptionist and gets the keys while Madeleine files out the hotels application form . The piccolo takes their baggage and invites them politely to their room .

INT.HOTELS ROOM.DAY

The piccolo opens Maddy’s room and puts her baggage inside. She pays him a tip and he goes out. For a moment she observes the room.It’s a beautiful,well designed suite .She goes towards the window and sees the beauty of Egypt. She has a good view to all over the city and the Nile river.Maddy goes to the bathroom to fresh up, changes her cloths.

INT.restaurant.day

They are at the restaurant and having their meals and talking to each other.Maddy feels uncomfortable in her stomach, takes out some tablets and swallow them.

ALI

"I went to Norway 10 years ago. I was senior student of the Cairo university and  had to finish my research in ancient Scandinavian  culture at the university in Oslo where I met my Ada .She had the same project and during my stay in Norway, I fall in love with her and a few months later we got married. "

MADDY

"Wonderful!"

ADA

"We love each other and are very happy."

Maddy

"Oh my God! This food is delicious!"

ALI

"Egyptian cuisine is one of the best!"

ADA

"About tomorrow. You should wake up early in the

morning since we have a few hours trip to the pyramids.

They notice a musician playing an instrument."

INT.HOTELS ROOM.NIGHT

Maddy looks at the window and stares at the sky full of dazzling stars. she goes and lays on the bed and stares at the Egyptian design on the ceiling. Suddenly,she feels some sort of energy around her. It is a shadow of a man.She feels like some one is looking at her.She tuns and sees no body.
She ‘s exhausted after a long trip and falls asleep right away . The shadow goes away.

INT.CAR.DAY

They are in the car and Ali is driving.

Ada with her beautiful kind smile gives a friendly expression to Maddy. Maddy feels like they know each other for such a long time.

Ada

"Did you sleep well last night ? "

Maddy

"Like a baby. "

Ada

"Good! Today we are going to Giza ,the ruined old Memphis and some places of Cairo. "

Maddy

"Great! I Read some stuff about Egypt at school,but could you tell me more about the pyramids?"

Ali

"Sure ! An Arabic proverb says" the Man is afraid of time and time is frightened by the Pyramids." The great pyramids which are build during 20 long years. First they put the blocks to gather and transport or carry each one toward the place where they ‘re built.No body knows how they placed them which is a mystery.Some people say that they used the ramps to carry the blocks but it’s just a theory .These pyramids have been witness of many events which has happened and sure these walls have many history to talk about. They were Joseph's neighbors, Faro’s  mountain. when Napoleon invaded  Egypt in 1798, he proudly stood there,looked at his soldiers and said:
”Solders! From the top of  these Pyramids, 4000 years looks at us" To day , these are the tourist attraction and Giza where you can find many museums and the mysterious sun boat which ‘s founded in 1954 in a area close to south side of the Pyramids.
It’s said that the boat was used for carrying  faro(Khufu) before his body was graved in the Pyramid. An only boat by which a person could pass through the dead river according to the Egyptian belief. "

Ada

"Egypt is a mysterious land!"

Madeleine takes a look at a piece of paper that Zelda gave her before the trip.

Maddy

"Find the vidar's shoe!"

ADA

"Zelda asked you to find it?"

Maddy

"How am i supposed to find Vidar's shoe in Egypt?!"

They arrive to the pyramid area.

EXT.ROAD TO THE PYRAMIDS.DAY

They are walking towards one of the pyramids.

Maddy

I still don't understand why in here.

ADA

"Let me see it.. I have studied mythology in college.Let’s see this is an old language says find the Vidar’s shoe. Vidar was a coordinator of this physical world with his wife,daughter of Norn. According to the Viking’s myth, we don’t have any power over the physical world.We have no power due to change the things which happen to us. Vidar is a silent God who serves the others gods.He fought and kicked  the butt of Ragnarok, the wild god  with his mysterious shoes..He was very powerful and strong god. "

Maddy

 How can I find them in here?!

Ali

"Let me look at the paper again.
There is  a sign in the paper. If we compares with a sign on the wall of one of those pyramids... "

Ali finds a guy and talks in Arabic. They go toward one of the pyramids.Ali talks with another guide near to the tomb.They all enter the tomb.

INT.tomb.day

They enter inside the tomb.The guide whispers kind of prayer while entering.Maddy with her eyes wide open looks at the signs and touches the humid walls.There are several  corridors on their way.
On the way towards one of the corridors, Ali stops and looks at the different signs on the wall. He touches one of the walls.It opens slowly and many corridors appear in from of their eyes.

ADA

"It’s time to read that spell which we took,Ali. "

Ali

(Whispers a prayer)

"Look, there is something in here."

Maddy

"what is it?"

Ali

"A big...spider...run..."

A big spider appears and they all runaway including the guides. They find a place and sit there. It is another long corridor. They guides are gone. Maddy feels pain in her stomach. Ada starts to telling a story while they are resting.

Maddy

"hey look...i found something!"

ALI

"This is it!"

Maddy

"what?"

ALI

"The vidar's shoe!"

Maddy

"It is a coin?!"

ALI

"congratulations Maddy! You made it!"

Ada

"Wonderful! I remember a Scandinavian legend which says..."

A mysterious palace where is endlessly cold and dark.We see a man, 30's, has a crown on his head and is sitting on the throne with Viking design. This man is Hell,one of the Loke's sons. He is surrounded by his best vikings who look unhappy but we see fear of the king in their eyes.

A man comes to him, and respectfully tells him of the lands faraway.A close shot of Hell that smiles and send some men out. His warriors respectfully leave the scene.

We hear Ada's voice.

ADA

“ In the north , was a palace called Niflheim 

 where is endlessly cold and dark where

 the hell’s gods govern. Hell was one of Loke’s sons.

The Vikings knew that” the polar cycle “ is located

a long way up to the North where is cold and freezing

and the sun never shines in winter.They hated

the cold and knew that in the south of Muspelheim,

there is a land of light and warmth.

The land of son of Myspel,the great fire fighter."

Hell's warriors are sailing on a Viking ship.One of them takes out his jacket and looks at the sky. He feels the warmth of the Sun and smiles. The other Vikings take off their jackets made by goat's skin and letter.

The Vikings traveled from the North of pole down to the

 south where’s getting warmer and warmer.

They had heard the stories about the  hot deserts in

Africa and Arabia where’s impossible to live because of hot weather.
They believed in Vidar the powerful God who could

live everywhere and is a guide to make a better

 life and blessings. That’ why they graved his

shoes on a coin which was used during that time . "

It appears  some smoke inside the ball. We see a tree that appears in the smoke.

"He believed that was important to become

 wise so he gave one of his eyes to the spring

 as a gift in exchange of drinking some of

 it’s mystic precious water. That’s why

he could drink it! That’s why he is the

wisest god among the other gods! "

Maddy

"why are you telling me?!"

oldwoman

"I want you to drink it and bring some

for me.Here ...take this necklace for protection . "

Oldwoman

"Look at the necklace!"

(It comes out of necklace some smoke. Old woman shows her a door and invites her to enter)

"Now go,the necklace will protect you."

Maddy goes inside the door.

Long shot of a land.It appears a beautiful land  surrounded by wild yellow ,daisy and  violet  flowers,rivers runs toward the steps and green land , the mountains,the birds sing songs, the sky is crystal blue It looks like a heavenly paradise!

The necklace shows the way by it’s light. Maddy is amazed by the beautiful nature and the land. she wants to go up a tree in the middle. Suddenly a strong hand takes her arm and lifts her up.
Maddy i surprised.

Suddenly a dragon appears in front of Maddy’s surprised and fearful eyes. The man fights with the dragon. After a moment lots of blood comes out of the month of the dragon.

Odin

" Hurry ,there is no time left.

They run towards the tree of life."

Maddy

"Is that the tree of life? "

Odin

"Yes!we have to get there before getting to late. "

Maddy

"why are we in hurry? You have already killed the dragon! "

Odin

"This dragon never dies. "

Maddy

Maddy

"The great Odin?! No kidding!"

"If you want to drink water.Now it's time. "

Maddy gets closer to the tree of life and carefully looks at her both sides to make sure that everything is alright,then she bends and  drinks some water and takes some with herself in a bottle.
The same dragon comes closer to her,but a flying axes cuts the dragon into half. Maddy scared pulls herself back. The axes flies back toward  the hand of a young ,strong blond hair. He has a  crown on his head.

Maddy watches the road. The wind caresses her long hair. The atmosphere is filed with the sent of wild flowers and orange trees.

They get closer to a big crowded market. People are buying goods and sellers sell their products to their customers and children play around. 

They go toward the palace.

There are tow guards who stand at the gate. The guards  knell down  in  front of Maddy.

"I thought Persepolis was burnt by Alexander the great in  331 BC! "

"Yes but the great king Xerxes gave them a good lesson, my lady.  Please enter in, my lady!"

They go inside the palace.

The driver stops and Maddy walks slowly in a big hall.

The magnificent palace is surrounded by a beautiful  garden with trees and flowers. Everything is made by gold.The sign of two lions holding a crown is seen on everywhere. A middle aged woman approaches her with her two maids. She has dark brown long hair and wears a long white dress made by silk. She wears a crown with the same sign of lions. A tick arm band, made by gold and diamonds pleases one's eyes. She wears a beautiful necklace made by diamond, sapphire and rubies.

"This is the queen of Persia,Manddana."

MANDDANA

(opens her arms towards Maddy)

"Ahurmazda, The God of goodness!I cannot believe my eyes!"

( her maids stand aside with respect)

She runs towards Maddy and embraces her. One of her maids, 25's, stands behind the queen.

Manddana

"My child, my beautiful child. (she cries)

Do you know how much I prayed to Ahurmazda

 for not letting you to pass the river of death?

Praise the Ahurmazda for hearing me and sending you back to me,my dearest child ! Let me see you. "
(She holds Maddy's arms and looks at her )

She takes Madeleine’s hand and they go to another big room.

The boll of fire is seen in the center. We pan the entire temple. There are the sign of lions are everywhere and the incenses and burnt offerings are seen beside the fire. 

There is a giant  standing statue that is kindly looking down behind the boll of fire.

"Yes my queen."

( she goes out)

Manddana

"He should see the miracle!Atessa!"

There is a coffin made by gold near to the statue.

There is a big swimming pool covered with rose petals in the middle. The maids and servants are preparing the bath for Maddy. She is half naked and is waiting for warming up the water. There is another pool of milk. A servant invites her to go inside the pool of milk. She slowly puts her feet and gives her towel to another maid and slowly sits inside the pool of milk. Two maids are laughing and washing her with milk. Then maids wash Maddy with water.

She wears a beautiful long golden dress. Her white shoulders and breasts are shown and designed with royal jeweleries. A maid wants to take off Maddy's necklace but Maddy does not let her. The maid with respect put her armband with the royal design.

Two maid holds a mirror in front of Maddy. She looked fantastic.

The queen comes in to the room.

"Oh,Look at you! You are dazzling!

The banquet is arranged! Everybody

 will be there,Your father still don’t know.

He will be surprised. I always wanted to

 surprise him. Let’s get ready.
The sun hides behind the mountain

 and the starts coming out.It’s a full moon.

The sky is lighter and every where

 is decorated with lights, you see. "

The queen (Manddana )and Madeleine (Atessa) leave the room.

INT.the banquet.night

The gardens are designed by the white linen and purple materials. There are silver rings on the marble pillars and golden couches standing  on a mosaic pavement of porphyry, marble, mother-of pearl and the other costly stones.Wine is served in goblets of gold, each one different from the other, and the royal wine is  abundant, in keeping with the queen’s liberality. By her command each guest is allowed to drink in their own way. The queen, Manddana  instructed all the wine stewardess to serve each man what he wishes.

The great king Darius, enters in the hall and goes toward his thrown and sits there.Silence. His  ministers and consolers bending and showing him a great respect. The king is curious about the occasion but does not show on his face. He is tall and strong, his black hair gave a handsome look on his fair skin. He is a handsome, middle aged man. The king of kings is 45 years old. His strong arms tell us stories about wars in the far east, Africa and Greece. He notices every single details around him.  His minister and generals are pleased to see him. Silence. The king waves a little and four  slaves bring in a small box. Silence.Music. We pan the banquet to see who are in the banquet. The foreign generals and royal family are sitting in both sides of the palace.

We have a close shot of a box. Insert of a par of arms dancing slowly out of the box and we see a half naked dancer, moving her body out of the box. The king is watching her and the queen is watching the king to see if he is pleased with the dancing.

The king looks slowly at his beloved wife. A woman that he has loved in his life, the one. The king shows his hand and take her hand. The queen is dazzling in her white, sexy dress.

"That how much  the king adore the queen of Persia!"

MANDDANA

"Oh my love! I am flattered by such romantic flame!"

There are six maids in the bathing hall. Two of them are giving Farnoosh a bath. A maid comes to her and dry her young, fair body. Another maid put perfumes on her clothes which is a beautiful blue color silk dress. The other one comb her long black hair.

It is a beautiful royal bedroom.We pan the royal objects in the room, the curtains and fruits on a round table with a bottle of win.

"The harem had to undergo a year of preparation for a single night that will make her either queen or concubine.The night has come.

We see her standing on here long blue gown in the middle of the royal bedroom. The young king in his 19's enters the room. Farnoosh looks at the ground. The young Darius comes closer, lift her chin up. He smiles by seeing a pair of big scared eyes that slowly looks up at him. She wants to kneel down but young Darius does not let her."

King Darius  is coming back from hunting deer with his

courtesans.

Darius and Farnoosh are sitting in their throne and surrounded by the courtesans and the generals.Farnoosh is pregnant. Darius looks at her ans smiles at her belly.

Farnoosh is in pain. Several doctors are on her bed and try to help her with the baby.

Farnoosh is tired and her hair is sweaty. Darius cums on her side and put his hand on her head. A drop of her tear slowly  goes down  on her face and pillow.

Darius and Farnoosh are having dinner. Farnoosh takes his hand and Darius slowly takes off his hand. We see Farnoosh's sad face.

Farnoosh is laying on the bed and waiting for Darius.

Darius is cuddling with two young women. He is drinking win  and kissing one of the women's breast while another woman is licking and kissing Darius's body. They all are laughing.Darius is drunk.

Farnoosh madly laughs while stirring a potion inside a big pot.

Meheregan festival. The king, his queen and Maddy are sitting on their thrones. Silence. Three priests and the great priest are approaching a porch. The great priest holding a little porch in his hand.Silence.

"Blessed be Ahormaza!

Thank be to Mitra the goddess.

The Sun is said to be the eye of Mitra,

or of the compound Asura "Mitravaruna" analogous to

Mithra-Ahura in Avesta our holy book,

Darius nods his head. The priest put a fire on the big porch. the great priest bend toward Darius.

PEOPLE

"Happy Mehregan!Happy autumn."

  Dancers come in the center and dance around the big porch. The other dancers are dancing in the middle symbolically demonstrating a harvest. Some male dancers supporting symbolically their harvest. People are happy and drinking win.

Darius is drinking and conversing with the queen. Maddy is amazed by seeing the whole festival.

People gather around the big porch, hand in hand, shape a circle. They round around.

The guardian calls Franoosh’s name for informing Darius of her coming. A few minutes later she and her two maids come in with her shinning, long dress and gifts in her maids hands.
Farnoosh kneels down in front of the king. Her sad eyes look down. King is surprised by seeing her.

Farnoosh

"Long live the king of kings, Darius! "

DARIUS

"Blessed be, Farnoosh the lady of long lands."

(Manndana seems worried)

FARNOOSH

"My Atessa live long. I brought some gifts for her as i heard that she feels well, my lord!I ask for permission to give the gifts."

Darius nods and Farnoosh let her maids give gifts in the boxes to Maddy. A maid brings the gifts to Maddy. She looks at them and nods her head as a sign of thankfulness.

People are dancing. The king is drinking and kissing Manddana's hand.Farnoosh sadly looks at them.

Maddy with her maids are walking in  garden toward the palace. She sees Farnoosh and her maids.

"Can i talk to you in private?"

Maddy

"sure."( she let her maids go away)

"It was wonderful! How about you,Farnoosh?"

FARNOOSH

"Fine.I have something for you.

( gives an exotic fruit) Taste this fruit.

This fruit has a magical power.It’s said

that whoever eat this during the full moon,

"Yes indeed."

Farnoosh leaves the scene and Maddy approaches  a hall near the garden. She  meets a man, 25's tall and good looking.This man is Alexander.

"Does this admirer has a name?"

Priests are standing by the queen and king Darius. A coffin is in the center ,covered by flowers. Maddy is laying in the coffin.

Six soldiers bring in Farnoosh. She is handcuffed.

Maddy is laying on bed in a room at the hospital. She opens her eyes. She is surrounded by doctor Berton  and three nurses.

Doctor Berton

Are you alright,Maddy?

Maddy

"where am i?"

DOCTOR BERTON

"At the hospital. Do you still have pain in your stomach?"

Maddy

"Yes, but not much.How long have i been in here?"

DOCTOR BERTON

"A month. We were worried about you. "

Maddy

"How did i get here?"

DOCTOR BERTON

"The cleaning lady found you on the flour and took you in here."

Maddy

ok.

DOCTOR BERTON

"I think it is best for you to stay at the hospital."

Maddy

No.

DOCTOR BERTON

"Your condition is getting worth."

Maddy

(sits on bed and goes to wear her cloths)

"I said NO. I wanna go home."

DOCTOR BERTON

"I don't force you, but it is for you own sake,Maddy."

Maddy

"Doc....I am fine."

DOCTOR BERTON

"You just said you still feel pain in your stomach."

Maddy

"I know but i can tough it out. i am fine doctor Berton."

DOCTOR BERTON

"As you wish.( to nurses) would you come with me."

Maddy

EXT.hospital.day

A taxi is parking outside the hospital. Maddy gets in the taxi.

INT.BEDROOM.DAY

Maddy opens the window and enjoys the fresh air. The wind caresses her hair. Maddy closes her eyes.

The Zelda hovers in the horizon.

Zelda

      "Maddy...Maddy"

Maddy

Zelda?

ZELDA

"How was your trip?"

Maddy

"weird!"

ZELDA

"You will receive the gift of long healthy life,young woman,but you must go through a series of test"

Maddy

"why?"

ZELDA

"You will see..."

Maddy

"Why aren't you telling me the point of all these time traveling?"

ZELDA

"Because there is a lesson for you in it."

"Does it matter? I mean if i knew earlier i might ..."

EXT.STREET.NIGHT

Maddy is walking. It is raining. Maddy is in her deep thoughts.

It’s a quiet night. An old couple hand in hand are going across the street and enjoying their walk. some meters farther there is a lady walks her dog. Some Young boys and girls are laughing and talking aloud on the way to the club.

Four guys are drinking and smashing the window of a restaurant. The owner of the small restaurant tries to disperse them but they won't do.. One of them takes a big stone and throws to the restaurant's big,expensive window.They four guys run away when they see he is calling the police.

The restaurant's owner yell at them.

Owner

"what have i done to you? why can't you leave me alone?why? why?This is the 3rd time that you are breaking my window. "

Maddy slowly passes by him.

We hear The sound of wild dogs from afar. It begins to
snow .
A little farther  There is a fight outside of a pub. There are six guys who are beating up a slim man in his 40s. He tries to protect his eyes. one of them takes his hand and the other one kicks his face. After a minute his face becomes full of blood  Another one  takes his hand and screws in the opposite side. The poor guy shots of pain.

THE MAN

"I just wanted to use the bathroom".

I even don’t drink  alcohol! I wish I never used the bathroom in here!"

They are beating up him crazily and nobody comes to help the man. Maddy  hides herself behind a wall and looks at this event.

The man falls down and is unconscious. The street gangs disperse. A few minutes later an ambulance come with a police car.

A stranger follows Maddy. She walks faster.

Stranger

Hey …I am talking to you,bitch!

stranger

Ok i am sorry...wait...

EXT.SHORT CUT.NIGHT

Maddy walks faster suddenly the stranger appears.

Strenager

"Not so fast...baby"

Maddy

"Let me go..."

STRANGER

"or what?"

Maddy

"I scream..."

STRANGER

"Scream as much as you want, no body hear you."

He  puts a knife on her throat and try to rap Maddy.

Some wild dogs run toward the stranger. This gives an opportunity to Maddy to run away. The dogs bit  different parts of his body. Maddy runs while looking back. She hears the stranger screaming and asking for help. Silence. Maddy is scared and dare not to look at the dogs. They come closer to Maddy. Maddy stops. The dogs slowly make a circle round around Maddy. One of the dogs comes closer to Maddy.

Maddy is very scared. The dog comes closer and starts to lick Maddy's hand. When Maddy opens her eyes, she recognizes the dog.

MADDY

"It is YOU....awww thank you for saving my life."

Dog looks at Maddy and runs with the other dogs leaving Maddy with a feeling of thankfulness.

INT. magic room.DAY

Maddy is meditating. The rood is filed with smoke of incense.The stone stands in the middle of the room and starts shaking. A voice comes out of the stone.

Voice

"You should go to 600 BC Chu dynasty in China. The rest will be clear to you."

DISSOLVE TO:

EXT.NEAR BY Chinese mansion/PERGOLA.night

It’s a beautiful Chinese mansion  which belongs to one of the generals in Chu dynasty. Lady Sun, 27's,  is sitting in a pergola near by the mansion. She wear a blue silk dress with red flowers.A maid is sitting beside her and  reading a beautiful poem.A musician maid, 15 years old is playing a Chinese instrument. There is a pool beside the pergola covered with lotus flowers and a bridge up the pool is a connection between two sides of the pool.Lady Sun is drinking Jasmine tea and listens to the poetry and music.
The atmosphere is filed with birds songs ,dragonflies and the melody of the Chinese instrument.Maddy notices them through bamboo tree near b. She is in a beautiful pink Chinese silk dress and her hair is carefully designed with flowers. Maddy is completely overwhelmed to find herself in ancient China !

Maid

"Lady Sun, the following poem belongs to Wang Bo. May I read it?"

Lady Sun

"By all means."

Maid

"By the stands high Prince Teng’s Pavilion proud
No more ringing bells punctuate dancers refrain  At dawn its painted beams bar the south flying cloud,
At dusk its up rolled screens reveal western
Hill 's rain leisurely clouds hang still waters all day long,
Stars move from spring to autumn in a changeless sky.
Where is the prince who once enjoyed her wine and songs?
Beyond the rails the silent river still rolls by ... "

(notices Maddy)

"AnMai …what are you doing there? Come over here and have some tea with us. "

Maddy

"Are you talking to me?"

Lady sun

"who else could be?Of course i am talking to you! Come here!"

Maddy

"Thanks. I love Jasmin tea."

Lady sun

"You have no idea how much i miss Liu Bei!"

Maddy

"Who is he?"

Lady sun

"what's wrong with you today?Don't you remember my husband,Liu Bei?!"

Maddy

Lady sun

"Don't be...I miss him so much. It's been a long time since he went to ask the white dragon to join him against Cao Cao? Liu Bei's friends Guang YU and Shang Fei are with him. The three warriors will fight against Cao Cao the wicked man. The whole country will be ruined if he gets the power.I have heard that his soldiers invade houses and takes away  peoples food, steal their cattle and horses. Cao Cao has no shame. He also took away many women. I know that Liu Bei will unite the country and people live in peace again."

Maddy

"Yes, Liu Bei is a great man."

Lady sun

"I admire him for his ambition. He was only one of the kings generals. He worked very hard to be where he is right now."

Maddy

"yes indeed."

LADY SUN

"I hope the white dragon be agree with cooperation. He is the wisest man who knows strategies to win the war. Liu Bei really needs to have such man among his advisers. He lives in the mountain. Liu Bei worked very hard to meet him but he never opend his gates for Liu Bei."

Maddy

"why is that?"

LADY SUN

"I don't know maybe he wants to test if Liu Bei really want him for his knowledge and power of mind or just try to add another adviser in his team."

Maddy

"It is obvious that Liu Bei needs him that's why he went there up to the mountain to meet with him."

LADY SUN

"white dragon is a scientist. He is very different from the other ones. It's been six months since Liu Bei is gone only for the sake of meeting the white dragon.I think the white dragon wants to test Liu Bei's patience.My husband sat near by white dragon's gate for six months to get into the white dragons palace and talk with him!"

Maddy

"That is a long time!why does not he choose another person."

LADY SUN

"Liu Bei wants only white dragon as the head of his advisers and no one else."

Maddy

"why does not white dragon want to meet Liu Bei."

LADY SUN

"He hates the war."

A messenger runs toward them.

MESSENGER

"Lady Sun ( kneels down) I ask for permission to give you a good news."

(He hand over the roll wrapped with a seal to Lady Sun. She opens it right away impatiently. )Here you are!

"You should take enough rest and get ready.

A maid is playing an instrument for Maddy

"Could you tell me more about this country."

MAID

"Yes lady AnMai."

Maddy

"Tell me everything, about people,kingdom..."

MAID

Certainly my lady. What would my lady like to know?

Maddy

"Who is the emperor? what has he done for people? things like that!"

MAID

"The emperor Chou Kung established new laws, military training, and both public and physical education for people-
He has included the learning of rituals, music, archery, horsemanship, literature and mathematics.
 Archery is compulsory in the army and emphasizes in the schools. "

How is the educational system in here?

MAID

In schools, shooting with the bow and riding horseback are the course of physical training. There are also courses such as the Li Chi (Book of Ritual),the Shang Shu (Book of History),the Yi Ching (Book of Changes) or the Shih Ching (Book of Poetry).The Book of Poetry, for example, reports that dancing, martial arts and combats with weapons.

"It seems that the emperor is a wise man who cares about people."

Maid

"yes my lady.That is correct."

EXT.close to the mountain.day

Lie Bei's troop are waiting for Liu Bei's return from the mountain. It's a cold day and win blows through the troop's falgs. Shang Fei, 40's old impatiently is waiting.He is a fat but strong man and plays with his tick round beard. Guang Yu, 42 's, long beard until his stomach and his wide shoulders are covered by his long straight hair. Guang Yu notices Shang Fei's impatience and hot temper attitude but calmly looks around.

Shang Fei

"why took him so long?"

Guang Yu

"Be patient!"

SHANG FEI

"I don't understand why Liu Bei insist to ask White dragon to join us?!"

GUANG YU

"Cause he is good at what he is doing!He is a competent expert!"

SHANG FEI

"Now you are insulting me!"( put his hand on his sword as a sign of menace)

GUANG YU

 ( He does not react.It seems as he is used to his freind's hot temper)

"Calm down, Shang Fei! You know that i did not mean to insult. I am only saying that Liu Bei needs men like white dragon that's all."

SHANG FEI

"Sometimes you remind me of my wife!You are so calm. How could you be so calm? He 's gone two days up to the mountain, waiting at white dragon's door. ( notice's a medallion in his neck)I see you still carry it! Do you miss her?"

GUANG YU

"I miss her a lot!"

SHANG FEI

"God bless her soul!( looks at top pf the mountain) It must be very cold up there!

CUT TO:

EXT. top of the mountain.day

Long shot of Liu Bei that is climbing the  mountain. we see his hands reaches the top. He lefts his whole body up. He stands up and is  breathing fast. He find himself in front of a castle's gate.

A white eagle is flying above the sky mysteriously.The eagle goes inside the castle and after a few minutes,the gate opens and  a mysterious man, 60's,man comes out.
Liu Bei  is about to introduce himself but the old man invites him in politely.

INT.big hall.day

The hall is designed with images of battle fields.Liu Bei is amazed by observing the images.

In the center of the hall a sitting man,50's, modestly awaiting Liu Bei.Liu Bei notices him and shows bends over.

White dragon

"I admire your patience, Lie Bei.

 Please come closer. You must be hungry."

(claps and the old man shows up) Bring us some food!( the  old man nods respectfully and goes out)

Liu Bei

"It is worth waiting for such a  wise man!"

white dragon

"Not so many people have such patience! I truly admire you!"

MUSIC. They continue their conversation.The old servant enters with a big plate of food. White dragon invites him to eat.

EXt.city.day

Liu Bei with his generals are riding their horses and waving to people across the road who are happy for their coming.

INT.BANQUET.night

It is a great banquet . Liu Bei with  his wife,his generals and their wives,his divisions officers,  Maddy and white dragon are there enjoying their meals. Everywhere is decorated with red, yellow,blue and white colors. Musicians are playing  an old Chinese music and some actors are performing the Chinese opera. for them.Guests are having their meals and drinking rice spirit.  round tables are every where and every body are sitting on Maddy enjoys drinking her jasmine tea.
During the diner some dancers come in and begins to perform the sword dance.The dancers body is as flexible as a piece of robber and they use the sword fighting techniques as well.
  They eat and drink all night and during this time the white dragon looks at Maddy  once awhile in a mysterious way. Madeleine is having her great time and preparing to leave the banquet with a maid.

EXT.garden.night

Maddy is walking in the garden. She is looking at the beautiful flowers and enjoys their scent.She looks at a bird that she never had seen in her entire life. White dragon comes out if the banquet and notices the bird.

White dragon

"We call it the bird of bad luck. It’s a very rare bird. (Maddy notices him)

They don't usually show up!
You must be a special person!

Your life certainly will be changed after awhile,I presume."

Maddy

"Is that right?!"

Lady sun

"Oh you are here An Mai!"

Maddy

Yes.

Lady Sun

"Did you enjoy the banquet White Dragon?"

White dragon

Yes indeed. The dancing was quit interesting lady sun!

Lady sun

"They have several rehearsals! I am glad that you enjoyed it.AnMai
I have decided to join Liu Bei. "

Maddy

"why?"

Lady Sun

"May we be excused?"

White dragon

"Of course Madam."( he leaves them alone)

LADY SUN

 "My fortune tellers have told me that

this is going to be the last time that I be with liu Bei.

 I love him so much and I don’t want to lose him! "

Maddy

"You can't possibly believe what they say!"

LADY SUN

"I do believe them. They always tell me the truth!"

Maddy

"what Liu Bei say"

LADY SUN

"I have not discussed this matter with him yet!"

EXT.room.night

Lady Sun and Liu Bei just made love. They both are looking at the ceiling.

Lady Sun

"I want to come with you"

LIU BEI

"It is very dangerous, my dove!"

LADY SUN

I have already made up my mind.

LIU BEI

"I don't want anything bad happen to you."

LADY SUN

"I am not afraid,cause you are with me!"

LIU BEI

"It is not safe. You must take the baby and go to the East. "

LADY SUN

Why?

LIU BEI

Because it is safer than her. I cannot concentrate if you come with us!

LADY SUN

No!

LIU BEI

I am scared to lose you!

The camera fixes on his hopeful close up.

EXT.ROAD.DAY

Liu Bei and his troop are marching the road.

EXT. village.day

The army of Cao Cao rid every where and are burning the houses and the crops. They have no mercy on no one. children. War is showing it’s ugly face .The atmosphere is full of hollers of women and children who are running for their lives.

INT.Liu Bei's camp.day

Liu Bei, White Dragon and his generals are making a plan.

EXT.Eastern camp.day

Maddy, Lady Sun and her maids are drinking tea near to the camp.

INT.camp.night

Soldiers are asleep. Liu Bei and white dragon are still planning for the great war in their tent.

A messenger brings a bad news that the division of the enemy who came from the land of the Sun has already took over the palace and killed the king! This terrible news made Liu Bei very sad and angry.

EXT.EASTERN CAMP.DAY

Maddy along with a maid go to bring some water. A soldier who belong to Cao Cao is observing them behind the bushes.

Maddy and the maid leaves the scene. Inside the tent Lady Sun with her maid and her 6 months old baby having their meals.

EXT. river.day

Maddy feels pain in her stomach. After a long walk she finds a river and pours in water in the vases then sits there for awhile to rest. All of sudden some body put her bloody hand on Maddy's shoulder, scared turns back .It is one of the maids with lady Sun's baby in her arms.
Maddy take her by shoulder.

Maddy

What happened?

MAID

 The attacked us …(coughs ) they have been following us … one of us is a betrayer …

Maddy

"Who?!"

MAID

"Two of them wanted to rap her.

 Lady Sun gave me the baby and

throw herself in a dried well and

They tried to get her …but …but it  …was …too late ..i run

with the baby.They shot me with  an arrow but i was able to runaway. "

 She dies in Maddy's arm. Maddy takes the crying baby and runaway. She runs for an hour then sits somewhere to rest . Close up the child is constantly crying and she does not know how to make him quiet . All of a sudden she become surrounded by four of Cao Cao ‘s men ....
